Wenger aint in for a striker Digby
Yeah but i wanna know who is possible so I can have my hopes and dreams crushed again
No one even thought about Ozil until September 1st. If we get someone it's gonna be some name out the blue like he was.

I'm inpatient I want names/ guesses now
That is the main point, Digby. People can dream as long as they want....the names they dreaming of are not available. If someone really believe that bollox that Falcao e.g. on loan is a possibility need to go to a doctor.
Yeah i know GT, i just wondered who there could be, i don't watch any European football so people.may know more than me

It is reasonable to assume that he is available on loan, who in their right mind is gonna pay 30 - 40 million quid on someone who is coming back from a serious knee injury. It would work out well for all parties we would get a high class striker for at least a year. Monaco get him off the wage bill and Falcao gets to play in a decent league and prove his fitness.
You have one in Theo.
Play him in the position he craves because it's the position he's best at
Can't you just count Walcott and Sanchez as striker options?

He needs to stay injury free for that though

No it isn't.
Falcaos a much improved giroud, we need someone who plays a different way to him to offer a plan b
Theo is a terrible terrible centre forward, prefect winger but will never a centre forward
How can you compare Falcao to Giroud, just because they're both tall.
Falcao is everything Giroud isn't...except for the height of course.
The only time Theo did well when played upfront was when he moved out to the wing and cut in

Falcao isn't even that tall. 5' 10 or so

He was great in the Spurs game before the ACL injury
Hernandez or Welbeck might be available. They're an upgrade on Giroud as well.
Imagine the reaction on the Arsenal board if Wenger signed one of these.

Hernandez is a younger Darren Bent. A born super sub. Not a Giroud upgrade
He really is. He's not allergic to the penalty box and can score against decent opposition.
Falcao and Giroud are nothing alike at all. Falcao is a pure goal poacher, would bang in 30+ goals and wouldn't shít himself in big games.
Giroud is a pure goal poacher. And then some.

He is a poacher and nothing else. Doesn't fit our system. Has ball control slightly superior to Sanogo otherwise.
