Very true, ppl seem to think we need to spend big to do well in this league, Simon has known all along that these players would come good after loan spells, injuries etc as well as making a few additions to the team. we'll prob sign two fullbacks but for now I'd stick with White, lees is an excellent crosser of the ball which have led to a few goals !! (kisnorbo up front, did u see that finish!) MOT
Biggest eye opener for me is Donnie in goal. The bloke
is by far the upgrade over Kasper we were promised.
He is nothing short of brilliant. Add Clayton who is a
revelation. Mix in a White at LB and Nunez, and I have
to say SG and the club have done far better than I thought. And that is great for all of us.
Sorry, these are not 5 new signings.
Paddy is not yet the player he was
Nunez we could have really done with last season but Grayson decided Bannan was a better option
Lees is good but not played in his best position
White could have solved our LB problems last season but Grayson wasted money on Mccartney instead
Clayton has come good but it has taken a year of wages/development to get him there.
Of teh players who have come in Lonergan is great, Rachubka I think is an improvement on Higgs (I think), Brown is a poor signing and we wouldn't have needed Keogh if the club had operated on Becchio when it said it would and Grayson hadn't have signed the useless Paynter.
Just great management by mr. Grayson !!
Jonty try being a bit more jaunty, seasons loan has done them good!

Just accept that Grayson has done a great job with loaning out of players, so far we're reaping the rewards, points should start racking up.

Yeah, it was a devilish ball and I'm not saying it wasn't a mistake, but in the grand old scheme of things he cant be judged solely on that. Like Lees wasn't hounded for scoring a similar OG.
But like you rightfully said - he's getting there!
You can not judge Paddy on 4 games
---------------
Why can't you judge Paddy on 4 games?
Are you saying then that you can't yet say if Clayton is any good because he's also only played 4 games?
Clayton wasn't injured for a season and a half.
What has that got to do with how many games someone plays before you can judge them.
You're trying to twist things around to fit your point of view.
Many will tell you that Paddy isn't back to previous form.
Nothing negative about that, he'd probably say the same himself.
Sorry if that tarnishes your shiny little world, but folk are allowed to make their observations on here.
