@chrislepkowski: Been a good transfer window for #wba. Frustrating in terms of red tape but a good mix of youth and experience, with no 'major' sales

It would have been nice to get maximum points against Sunderland and Southampton because we have some tough fixtures around the corner. But we'll be nowhere near the bottom three clubs this time round.

Going to be a good season What a signing

One thing I've been thinking though, is James Morrison going to get any game time at all? Might see him going off in January if not before Sep 1

He is the most reliable of the lot JH

However signings do pull out , go elsewhere etc, but this guy has his finger on the pulse 95% of the time ,.......

He stated since Friday this would happen, the club said no signings until after the weekend.

Then up pops Samaras & Varela,.......

He has some inside knowledge from somewhere

To be honest is there anything more the club could have done (realistically) this summer? Not sure there is. Some top calls by the club #WBA

Hold on to your hats apparently the "other winger out iTK rates higher than Varela

baggie96 who broke the Varela news: "Thought we'd struggle to get a winger as good as varela for the other wing, turns out I could be wrong!"

I think we've all been pleasantly surprised. Now let's hope the team can do the business on the pitch.

I haven't heard anything about the permanent winger the club want. Baggie96 Is it the young lad from MK Done we want or is it someone else you are referring to?

Not that young, early 20's. Could cost a fair bit though so not sure if we will get the guy I'm on about but people I've spoken to seem optimistic that it's happening.

Deli Alli looks a very good prospect but with Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City sniffing around, he's sure be drawn towards them. Thats said, if he had any sense and gets good advice, he's far more likely to get into the Baggies first team than into the £zillion squads of the Big Boys....but like Izzy Brown, it doesn't work like that - youngsters are attracted by £££££'s and assume they'll walk into the first team.
