Probably you, Knotty and a few other Liverpool fans are actually level headed.. Its the younger scousers who get up everyones noses by waving thier willy about regarding history / cups and how every club is little compared to Liverpool, that ends up causing all this excessive wumming. Some of it deserved in my opinion.

Boring? Why, cos we were the better team? And offside goals? The first one, fair enough, the second one was fine by the laws of the game. And we had more possession than you, not many teams play against Barca-lite and do that.

no the game was boring. if you reckon that was exciting i feel sorry for what you get served up at anfield every week. second goal came right at the death of the game. first goal was the crucial one as always. second one might never have come if first wasn't given. you had more possession? we were missing out entire starting midfield from last season... not the greatest achievement.

you got lucky to beat an arsenal side with almost a team of absentees. well done, but who finished higher is all that matters. so we can wait and see

8bit actually makes a good point here - from an outsiders point of view it probably WAS a boring game to watch, it wasn't exactly Barca/Real from the other night. I'd predicted a boring 0-0, and we got a (fairly) boring 0-2 - it's probably only the LFC fans who found it exciting?...

when i say boring i don't mean rubbish game. it was a decent contest for the most part. both teams seemed a bit nervous to lose. it was interesting as far as the match ups, seeing which way the game was going to go, but yeah not in the barca/madrid sense.

I enjoyed the game , was impressed with Nasris contribution all things considered. The fact is all teams have to cope with injuries & suspensions its all part of the game. Wengers not got a deep enough squad, liverpool have far better balance & depth they may not overtake arsenal this year but i know which club is going in the right direction in my opinion & it aint arsenal
