Positives?

No Muppetboy or Toilet Block posts on our board for a few days.

A 4 - 0 win and this ................... priceless!

Just my thoughts, I do still think there's work to do for Liverpool, especially with our defence getting caught out by remy's pace a few times. Sturridge and sterling will exploit that.

Agreed.. we'll have to sit someone on Gerrard to cut out the service before it gets there.. Holtby maybe?

If we keep playing like that the atmosphere will take care of itself

Good assessment of yesterday`s game. I think the switching off in the last 5 minutes was something all teams do to an extent, at 4-0 up. Good solid performance.

Loads of positives from yesterday which have already been well summed up in this article

I did find the lack of pace to be a slight negative, and in general have thought it could be a weakness of the team. As much as I like Ade, I do think Defoe for instance would have scored a hatful against QPR's very slow defence. Yesterday really confirmed my belief that we could do with a quick striker like Remy, Hernandez or Welbeck.

Super Tottenham

Agree totally buddy, i still feel we could do with a pacey forward player and i think Welbeck fits the bill. He can play CF but i think he is best as an inside forward.

He is probably the hardest working forward in the game, has great pace and skill. He can play in any of the forward four positions.

I agree on Welbeck, think he would suit the system very well. His link up play and short one touch football is decent, meaning if he played as the lone striker he'd rotate well with the three behind him. Also he is quick and is just about a better finisher that Ade who isn't lethal in front of goal

Wellbeck????

Dammit I need some of what you are smoking if you think he would be a good signing.

Has it occured to you that a team who finished 7th and have struggled to get off the mark this season want rid?

An international famed manager has told him he can go when all he has is an average side. Does that not tell you anything?

"manager has told him he can go when all he has is an average side. Does that not tell you anything?"

You could be talking about Sporting Lisbon and Dier.

Different ball game altogether than the prem.

"Different ball game altogether than the prem."

Sometimes a particular environment doesn't bring/get the best out of a player. Fergie, great manager that he is, only got the best out of Berbatoss for one season out of three.

Think Welbeck was very limited when having to play strictly left wing, really don't think he's that bad. Would be homegrown and a good squad option for Europa

Rather we waited for J Rod than by Welbeck

And thats a reason to spend millions because "he is not that bad?"

This is real money and if we cant find a better use for it than Wellbeck then we should keep it.
