we could still ship him off to a Europa club like Spurs for not much of a loss at all
=======================
I thought Liverpool is the team that useless overpriced players go to?
Andy Caroll anyone?

Surprising yet exciting deal. Shame he's not available tonight.
I think you are onto something here op, Man city and Milan both sold him for a loss over nothing
We really didn't make much of a loss. If it's 16 million pounds then Milan haven't either.
Personally, I'm glad he's back in the pl.

don't think Milan could afford to keep him, 200 + k a week apparently and they had money issues and finished 7th.
City sold him as he fell out with Mancini if I recall and always have 4 top strikers anyway. besides it not like they made huge losses on him, the sake of a few million.
People said the same about Suarez
People said the same about Sturridge
People said the same about Sterling
Yes they did, Arsenal fans saying accept 30m for Suarez as hes a ticking time bomb, 40m + £1 was a great offer etc. Sterling has 21 kids and is a rebel. Sturridge is selfish arrogant cocky lazy they all got stick.
suarez was in the end.
Sterlings hair is awful and he is a bit of a chaav
Sturridge is a selfish arrogant cocky
Sturridge is also the top goalscorer in the PL for 2014.
Balotelli reminds me a bit of Adebayor in a way. Has been to a lot of top clubs and hasn't stayed there for very long. With each transfer it becomes harder and harder to get rid of the player because they are known for trouble.
I am not saying for one minute Balotelli will be a problem for Liverpool. Just making the point that lots of Liverpool fans seem to think if he is a problem they can just recoup the money without any worries.
Milan finished 7th last season and they are having money issues it's the same reason they sold Ibra and Thiago Silva a couple of seasons ago.
Whats that got to do with it sid?
Thought it was more relevent to point to his goalscoring prowess than your perception of him being " a selfish arrogant cocky "
my comment was in relation to the one before...
Nice one, my comment still stands
Needy?
Where has that come from?
I made a comment in response to another, on a forum for debating.
I wasnt insulting and what I had to say was factually correct.
Can you please point out where I appear needy?
Eh?
You cannot show me then? What a bizarre thing to say, after you asked me to explain what I had posted I explained my comment. You then accuse me of beeing needy.
I really am struggling to understand you.
He might go to the ethiad in a man united jersey tonight just for the Craic
Now that wouldnt surprise me.
My biggest fear is the lazy attitude on the pitch, his off field antics are just that antics he's not done anything g really malicious, throwing darts at teenagers was a dangerous thing to do but other then that what has he actually done off the pitch that's so bad?
The worry is if he gets frustrated he can lash out, the stamp on Parker was nasty but how many players have done such a thing in the past?
What will be the worst is if he gets in a mood and just allows the game to pass him by, luckily now we've options and Brendan won't stand for that he will haul him off and drop him of he displays a lazy work ethic, Brendan's teams are all based on high intensity, aggressive pressing if mario doesn't pull his weight he won't play.
He's in last chance saloon too according to his agent, also a point I think is important is how his agent said he was want to be a leader at Milan bit he doesn't need to be that at Liverpool. The agent even name checked gerrard when making this point. We've plenty of leaders on the pitch Mario can just get I with his game.
If he starts well which he generally does the fans will take to him and give him huge support, hopefully a bit of love from the crowd will help him but he had that at city and Milan and still went AWOL at times.
Lots to ponder but his signing immediately ups the casual interest in our club and it's going to be an interesting journey I'm excited anyway and isn't that what a new signing is meant to do for you.
still being needy sid, just accept things
