Were Elche threatened with relegation for debts, if so sounds like they wont get punished, an this late the 3rd team for promotion still not confimed?
Oh just seen they were, Eibar must have be having a party at that news.
GOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
spain are so vulnerable to the counter these days
and they dont shoot enough !! they try and walk it in all the time
wow wht didnt morata shoot there !
incredible !
even a pure number 9 like morata in a spain jersey, becomes incredibly shot shy even when in great positions !
That midfield just screams "vulnerable to the counter" tbh. Del Bosque has learnt nothing. He just can't create a balanced midfield.
true Wummy
good play by silva there unlucky not to make it 0-2
Belarus have caused problems on the counter. Imagine what Germany would do.
yes.. i agree Daz
the way spain play now, the 5-1 battering against holland could happen again if they play against the top nations
Khedira would expose us horribly on the counter...
...if only he could sprint 50 yards without doing his hammy.
Van de Vaart has signed with Betis for the next two seasons.
Four Villarreal players in U-19 Spain team.

Idiot of the highest order!
spain wiminz
I fell asleep after spain scored first...and so it seems did the senoritas !
Why are Spanish female footballers so crap-ola?
Two main reasons:
1. The emancipation of women is still very much a work in progress in Spain. Despite it's bourgeois origins, conservative right wing movements long viewed gender equity as a threat to the social order, and as such was scorned upon by the Fascist dictatorship that ruled Spain until 1975. Women were expected to have kids and clean the house, not do manly, macho things like sport.
2. We didn't invent the sport - women's football here is only just getting off the ground.
What's your excuse?

For point 1 above, similar applies here really.
For point 2, there is a chasm of gargantuan proportions between the mens and womens game as evidenced by the containers of cash thrown at the former and comparative pennies thrown at the latter.
'What's your excuse?'
Er, we are in the next round...registering the same points as Mighty France and are going to teach the Norwegians that their cod is no match for our bangers and mash
Poor comeback RC, not worthy of you.
Er...you invented the game yet to date have never even made a single World Cup semi, and you've only done very marginally better at the Euros
...and Mighty France...what have they ever done? Only marginally better than England at World Cups with a best ever fourth place finish (once) and zeroimpact at the Euros
As for your response to number 1, just no. The reasons might be similar, but the scale is totally different. When Twiggy was parading miniskirts married women in Spain needed written authorisation from their husbands just to buy a washing machine...
If we talk about the current state of affairs, it could be that Spain's actually made progress in the past 3 decades whereas England/Britain has arguably gone backwards
For point 2, that's hardly peculiar to England, is it?
good points IOAG
