Have you already sacked Benny Dreadful then?
Emery will always bottle against teams he is supposed to beat. It's is MO! That will be our edge over them. Our squad is actually deep enough in most areas to handle a hectic schedule.
I'm glad to see Negredo has cut out the pies over the summer and lost the extra weight.
That may be, but they've still got a good chance of top four and that experience in juggling competition gives them a bit of an advantage.
Not saying Nuno won't do well, but he could be out of his depth when he has to manage both, like Rodgers was.
Couldn't definitively rule out Sevilla finishing third in their group and winning the Europa again, to be honest.
Asenjo is also a big blow for us, not convinced on either of our other goalkeepers.
Yeah possibly. Depends who they draw, same with Valencia if they get into the group.
I'm not quite sure how the seeding is going to work next season. If us and Valencia qualify we'll both be in pot two, but the 8th spot for pot one hasn't been allocated yet because Barca won the CL and the league.
I don't know who the last place goes to.
Didn't you get Areola on loan? I've heard he's a bit of a tiiiit but really highly rated.
Yeah, he is highly rated, but not convinced until I've seen him play more to be honest. It seems strange signing a goalkeeper who will only be there one season.
PSV are a pot one team with a lower co-efficient than Villarreal.
Isn't it just to cover for Asenjo for the season though?
It's ok I've got it now.
Could see Sevilla get an English side if us and Valencia get into the group stages. Atleti, Valencia, Madrid, United, City and Arsenal would all be second seeds.
Should be some really good groups next season.
Sevilla will be second seeds if Leverkusen don't qualify.

They'd need Shakhtar to fail to qualify as well, Henrik.
Forza, I think you could cause some trubble on this article.

Good point about Nuno and juggling 3 comps. He didn't even juggle the two we were in last too well. Hope he continues to do well against the big boys though.
It's a learning curve, though. He may end up doing it well, we'll just have to wait and see.
I read you're going to be playing three at the back this season.
We did that for quite a number of games last season and I never liked it that much. I have the opinion that it isn't easy to win the midfield playing a 352. I'd rather we adopt a standard 451 formation. We were creating very few clear opportunites for our CFs last season and that is something we have to address.
Depends on what your midfield is I guess.
Wump, I'm not aware of the final season stats, but I do remember that in the first third or half of the season your shot conversion rate was ridiculously high.
That to me would suggest that even though you weren't creating that many chances overall, the ones you did must have been pretty clear-cut.
I obvs didn't follow Valencia as closely as you did, but didn't you play more counter-attacking football in the first half of the season that in the second, where you spent longer spells in possession?
If so, it might be interesting to compare each half of the season in terms of shot on/off target, conversion rate, shots/goals conceded, etc.
Spain beat France with a late brace from Asensio to qualify for the Euro U-19 final vs Russia, who spanked Greece 4-0.
That is a pretty intereating thing to look at ioag. We definitely kept the ball better in the second half of the season when Parejo improved immensely but I am not sure about our chance stats in the latter stages of the season to earlier. My guess is that we created almost the same number of chances on average. Our CFs really fed on scraps last season which was the most worrying thing about us after lack of character in away games ofcourse. We just have to fix those two issues!!
I am disappointed we still don't have a sponsor. Like I have said many times before, it doesn't put Lim in a positive light at all.
You showed up the same time as I was posting I see. Non-Madrid fans seem to think Asensio should leave Madrid for a smaller team to progress. What do you think?
