I like Capoue.
was good at start of last season, then injuries halted him, then Sherwood dissed him, and then that was that.
He has come back looking very hungry and very good.
Capoue is top quality imo. Class above Sandro. Capable of passing as well as breaking up play.
Problem is - what happens if Capoue picks up an injury again? Where's the back-up if Sandro leaves?
Incredibly fit also, a proper engine, he came top of the clubs fitness assessments I believe

If Sandro goes hopefully Schneiderlin will be coming in.
Not sure where Paulinho fits. Maybe he'll be off too?
Right now, both Dembele and Paulinho look surplus ... Especially given the system we're playing (i.e. one DM, one playmaker, two wingers and one #10)

He didn't pass the fatty Cazorla sits on your leg test, did he.
DM seems to be a high risk role (Sandro did not get injured because of stupidity) . Who is going to front up as DM when Capoue is injured again ??

Can Dier play DM? I doubt there's anything he can't do

Dembele is a good squad player tbh.
Capoue is quality , he looks like Mungo Jerry.

Alright, Alright, Alright.
He needs BAEs' hair to really do the job though.

This... While not top class he still the best player to play alongside capoue that we have
I feel like i've not seen Capoue properly a year on after he signed
He was very good against QPR though
More of the same please Etienne
Capoue is a class act and imagine if we had Schneiderlin with him using Bentaleb as a back up who is very much work in progress at Spurs !!
Chronic,

================
How did Sherwood "diss" him? He just didnt play a player that looked out of form...nothing wrong with that.
And i've noticed Bentaleb doesnt get any stick for being picked this season - whereas last season he was mocked for being the manager's love child and got no credit for deserving his place.
I must admit, i'm loving the formation of playing 3 No.10's, with all 3 inter-changing.
Capoue's done well in his role but he's not particularly stood out from the crowd.

via his comments about not knowing anything about him. I had no problem with him playing bentaleb ahead of him, but to come out and say that he had no idea about Capoue - a full French international, and had been at the club for half a season (at that time), was disrespectful
but to come out and say that he had no idea about Capoue

well it was a big issue last year and was discussed fairly extensively on here.
I don't have time to go back and look for comments now, but when my boss goes home I can surf the net til my heart is content
here you go chicken, took less than ten seconds to find this one

poor man management from Sherwood
Chronic,
poor man management from Sherwood

Them comments make it sound like Capoue has a massive chip on his shoulder and completely backs up why he was dropped.
Who does he think he is claiming the English are ignorant to foreign players - have you or he checked the % of foriegn players playing in our league compared to homegrown?
Good decision Sherwood....
