Wasn't Zidane £47m?
United have broken their club transfer record twice in seven months, we are filthy rich.
Still seems a lot of money if you think Di Maria was in the same position as Ozil was last season and he only cost £42m. But having said that, Di Maria will bring the pace and dynamism so sadly lacking at the moment.

Pound was stronger back then.
Yeah if you asked me last summer who i deemed a more valuable player, I would've said Ozil over Di Maria.
But hey, if we don't spend the money, it just ends up in the Glazer's bank accounts anyway so I think iv stop caring about it
Di María transfer fee. £63.9 which comes from £59.6 fixed plus £4.3 on adds on.
Difference between Ozil and Di Maria is thier mentality.
Ozil goes into hiding if things aren't going his way while Di Maria will continue to work his nuts off.
First time in a while Madrid have made money out of transfers, that's Ozil, Higuain and Di Maria all sold on for considerable profit isn't it?
Angel di Maria's representatives: "Once United showed interest, there was no PSG or anyone else, he just wanted Manchester United." #MUFC

PSG blew all of their budget on Luiz didn't they?
Did anyone from PSG do any research on Luiz? When you read about the 50pp dossier city put together on Aguero to see if he was worth spending £38m on, then compare it to them spending 50m on a a player who's been OK for Chelsea, but that's about it...
Woodward has come good on this deal. After facking up with the needless Fellaini deal and ending up paying a coulpe of million more he's saved us a few quid on arguably one of the best wingers around in world football.
The Independent reports Manchester United will step up their pursuit of £34million-rated Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal after securing the signing of Angel di Maria. However, fears over the knee injury which the Chile international is carrying means the deal may have to be structured, and therefore much harder to negotiate.
