----------
I am sure he will.
he didn't travel eriksen kaboul adebayor and a few others for the away tie and that was only before we played QPR.
being 2-1 up, and at home, I expect to see a very much second string side.

We don't have the players though
Kaboul & Verts cannot be risked
Vlad is injured & Fryers not registered
Leaves no one else but dier to play
May have to start with one or more of the senior CBs, get stuck into Limassol ASAP so that the result is safe and 2nd half subbing is possible.

They can play a half each. 45 mins is not a toll on supposed athletes. And if you are afraid of injury they could get injured training so no point having that approach.

Such a silly notion!!
Yes they could get injured in training but the intensity of a match with opposition players not really giving a shiet and will go into late challenges etc you are far more likely to get injured in a match!
Plus it's all about keeping fresh for our hardest game so far of the season

Agreed. This should be our approach for all games. play well. get things done in 45 mins then rest key players. We need to be aggressive and clinical with Cups this season. Playing weakened teams in clubs tells you a lot about a clubs mindset and this whether we like it or not filters through to players and affects attitude.

"Id be shocked if Fazio is thrown into a game the following day that he signs (if he does sign today that is)"
He couldn't as you have to put your squad in before the first qualifier!

Fredericks-----Dier----Veljkovic---------Rose
---------------Paulinho----Sandro----------
Lennon--------------Holtby---------Townsend

Quite a few of these players are fighting for their Tottenham careers at the moment (bar Rose, Dier & Kane) so would hope they play with a bit of passion tomorrow.

On paper you always want to play the strongest possible weak team for any game.
Which de-risks injuries to key players, and keeps the squad ticking over.
And if you have a good squad in breadth and depth, then barring injury plagues even your "weakened" team is still going to be quite strong.
From next week, we will see how Pochettino deals with the cup lineups, and the starts/subs in PL games. I am hoping that he will find the middle ground between what Arry and AVB did.

I dont think Poch will take this game lightly, and I reckon we'll see a near enough first team out there tomorrow
-------
if that is the case then its ridiculous. almost as bad as AVB was
