Rogerbold - West Ham fan that was a terrible wum and then think he changed allegiance to Celtic at one point.
.
I had at least 25 different names during the 3/4 years I was on the old 606 as spiteful United fans kept getting me banned.
Anyone else remember BigBallsBarry from the old 606?
Spurs fan who facking hated Darren Bent
"littledinosaurluke is a Manchester United fan"
LDL has always been a Spurs supporter in denial.
At the moment I have him as 90% Spurs, and if the season carries on as it is, he will make that final leap of faith.

Well having come across from old BBC606, I gotta say, to Admin one, and your crew, you've done a fantastic job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seconded, love this site, cheers for all the work!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
this site smashes the old bbc one
The problem with that was it had too much traffic. You would create an article and 10 minutes later it was the 6th down the page
Also the 3 minute rule between posting was a joke

I always considered rogerbold to be a Holte wannabee.
He just didn't have the stattery skills that Holte did.
Nor did he (claim to) support a team that had won the "big one" .
Chronic you forgot scouseliverpool100, he was a wum genius.
raptor :
LDL likes coming to Spurs 606 to chat.
As I said, the WUMmery he did on BBC606 is a thing of the past.
Holte and 3 euros used to have some right punch ups, with Spurcat usually taking the knockout blow.
The BBC606 was never really a site in terminal decline. They starved it themselves by removing the links at the foot of the sports stories. In some ways I get annoyed that they link to Facebook and Twitter these days.
We never had the moderating resources of the old site so introduced wum filters and board bans to compensate for much of that. We added the live article, you tube embed and the new match chat stuff just so we could be seen to taking things forward. As there is always a danger of stagnation.
The folk on ja606 really didn't seem to like LDL.

He came with a rep. Just like Mich and others.
He has changed since then, and is a decent contributor to Spurs 606 on the other side.
Michigen - Can't remember who he was previously but was another awful wum!

On another forum I used to use, more current affairs than sport, if you made a comment on a thread, no matter how old it brought the thread back to the top.
It did save a vast amount of duplicated articles, and it would on here save those who start a new article on exactly the same subject as one lower down because they think their comments are not going to be read.
I came across an article late in the day the other day that I wanted to say something on but knew it was too late and would never be read so pointless.
I was lambasted for my suggesting that this site should adopt that method, pointing out that you could press buttons on the top to get "latest comments" brought to the top. But who does that?
Anyway, good site this one, and a big improvement on BBC 606 is that it doesn't shut down at 11pm and expect us all to go to bed!!!
Cleverdick,Sandy,3euro's.were all the same person.

Exactly. The powers that be tried to persuade us that FB and Twitter were where it's happening and traditional forums were a thing of the past. I suspect it was really a cost cutting exercise so they wouldn't have to pay a moderator.
The shameless plugging and promotion of Twitter throughout the BBC is a scandal anyway.

Mich is still here. He is U8613.
I don't know how many of you are familiar with a poster called Herc, but he was a Villa fan, who was known for his pre and post match satirical articles on Villa games
