Karma is a bîtch......your gonna draw them again in the EL
The next few days will be quite telling in my opinion about the ambition of the club.
Stevie Wonder called the board last night to say that it was clear that we were missing a decent striker.
Lets see if they act on it. Their refusal to open the biscuit tin for a striker has contributed to the demise of our CL campaign and the cash associated with it.
We also need a lot more from the players we have. For a team that pressed so well in the away leg last week we didnt even manage a 15 minute spell of harassing them higher up the pitch.
I'm hoping to see players like Ambrose and Mulgrew dropped from the team for the near future.
It's only fitba
But if you want to try on my shoes your more than welcome
I can't feel positive Steve.....it's that nagging feeling that RD is out of his depth.
I'm willing to give the guy time but he has to earn it by demonstrating that he's the man for the job by improvement in performance/results. A good Europa campaign will do wonders for team morale and help him develop the team how he wants it.
Course if he makes a balls of the domestic scene Mowbray style, he'll be out on his ear.

Duke - classy mature response, as always, unlike your fellow bear Tosh
Don't miss sleep over it FFs
2 weeks and wee James is back
Him on form will make a massive difference
Took my dad to the game last night. He hadn't been in about 6 years. He was well up for it. He had been a season book holder for years.
As we left I said "same again in 6 years" 😂
Duke - appreciate the wise words and I'm not proud of it but - that reminds me - I'm knackered and need to get some kip - cheers guys
izzy,
"I can't feel positive Steve.....it's that nagging feeling that RD is out of his depth."
I really hope this guy proves me wrong, and if he does i will take whatever stick comes my way.
Steve
I have a sense of relief that we are still in Europe but won't meet Bayern or Man C.
Club football in all uefa affiliate nations outside the Big Four have taken a hammering.
As I have said often and got pelters for it europa is about our level at the moment and we're in it.
Keep the head up bhoys.
Things change quickly,as Steve says.
Look at MK Dons,last night.

I think we all have doubts when you see a display like last nights.
I was really angry after watching that display last night- many profanities were uttered throughout and though I appear calm on a forum in the aftermath I was quietly seething when I wrote about it yesterday
From my own point of view I dont think yesterday was a reflection of the sort of football that Deila wants us to play. There was no pressure on the ball at all, we sat back and let them have the ball for long periods and that wasnt good enough.
I'm not convinced that a guy who has spent his time talking about pressing the ball and quick passing would send the team out to do the exact opposite.
Maybe thats me being naive but after 8 games I'm prepared to give the manager the benefit of the doubt.
If it goes the way of Mowbray that opinion will gradually change but until he has proven that he cannot learn and adapt to Scottish football then he will have my backing.

Agree Europa is our level but it's the manner we went there is what is breaking me.
Tc...good points as always. It may be that your approach is the right one. However I'm a wee bit hesitant about the idea that ronny will have to prove he's a numpty. To be honest a strong suspicion will be enough for me. But for the Dundee united game I'd be giving him his jotters right now

Celtic played well to keep it down to one.
A brave effort indeed.
No need to panic just yet.

Ah, but think of all that lovely money that's been rolling into Parkhead oper the past 3-5 years bhoy-o.
Celtic are streets ahead of anybody in Scottish football in terms of finances with the ability to add to their squad almost on a weekly basis.
As long as they stay ahead of the pack (who cares if they never win the Treble?) and qualify every year for Europe, they will always be the top team team in Scotland forever and ever with lots of cash in hand to develop their youngsters then sell them on and make even more money. It's a no-brainer really isn't it?
At least until Rangers get themselves sorted out but that doesn't look like happening any time soon, so why should you be devasted?
You could be one of us!
europa is about our level at the moment and we're in it.
Really you will get humped in that as welll unless celtic make some decent signings.
