MA.

He deliberately put his car in that position, no chance of a pass with Hamilton on the racing line, he was at fault.

The team have said Ros was at fault and Ros has apologised.

He was in the wrong no matter how you look at it.

here what you are saying sid but i believe it was more of a intimidatory move just to let lewis know he was on his gearbox --- something we have seen many times before by many drivers and we will see many times more in the future and is perfectly acceptable in the heat of battle -

as it happened it all went belly up with lewis coming of worse , however you are only talking about a miscalculation of a few milimetres and on a different day both drivers would have got away with it -
----- but i agree the miscalculation was rosbergs fault -

Nico Rosberg took a totally unnecessary risk that could have led to both drivers or either driver losing out in the points. He was stupid for doing it and was lucky that he ended up benefiting massively as a result of his stupidity.

The intelligent thing for Rosberg to have done was to stay close to Hamilton and pass him easily once DRS was enabled. Simple! There would then probably be a Mercedes 1 – 2.

One thing drivers care about is their money so I would fine Rosberg 1/19th of his pay.

why one 1/19th ?

That would equate to one race's pay.

The race that cost his team and team mate a lot of championship points.

I wonder what martial's view of that incident would be if it was Hamilton in place of Rosberg
