Reminded me of a young Alex Winter.

Did a full match report when I got home and feeling really pleased with myself, promptly lost it before it got posted. So I slammed the lid down on my laptop (as you do when you are fuming) and now it's fúcked.
Can't be ársed to do it all again so suffice to say Dicko was M.O.M. Batth was excellent except for one mistake which cost us the goal (but I forgive him) Ikeme was world class. VLP was lucky not to see red even though his yellow was a farce. Henry was better than VLP and the ref was a total .
A very entertaining game played by two excellent footballing sides.

Gem, I've dared to mention it before and I'll suggest it again. If Ikeme and Batth continue with their performances, do you think they may get a call up in the future? If I were KJ, I'd be on the phone to RH.

It would be nice if he was still with us though. You know...Mick

We're building on the resurgence he started, and thankfully the blip from Connor, Stale, and Dean hasn't affected things too badly overall.

I'm really delighted with how KJ is managing the club right now.

You may have forgotten the years of exile in the Championship, Witless. Many if us who have followed the club do remember. KJ could be the best manager since Mick, and if the progression continues, could even be the best since Barnwell. Would be great if that happens. Either way, your cancerous odious digs are not required.

Wolfie, Ikeme has chosen to play for Nigeria.

Although he hasn't played yet so could technically change his mind at a later date.

fair play, got us in stitches here

Thanks, Cinci. Some people forget how MM had got us to the Premier League for season after season after season. We'd been in exile for so many years, other than the one season under Dave Jones, which was a short thrill. Reading papers up here today, Wolves are being referred to as an ex Premiership club looking to return.

Witless can try and pretend it didn't happen, but the irony is, had MM not taken the club to the Premier League, he'd have had nothing to moan about on various forums for almost 3 years.

Relax Bute......Kenny's new brand of football will have us reaching for European glory. You will be able to forget all about Mick soon enough........of course, he will always be fondly remembered

Just read the report following the excellent win yesterday. Well done boys.

Look forward to seeing the game at some stage and evaluating our performance.

Did notice that Batth gave the penalty away and it occurred to me that had it been Stearman he would have been slaughtered by some on 'ere.

Agendas!

Not an agenda with me Cyp. I said that Danny made a mistake but I forgive him and that is because for the remainder of the game he was awsome. He put his body on the line, put his head in where it really shouldn't have been, dominated the box with his aerial prowess and other than his one slip, never put a foot wrong.
If it had been Stearman who had given away the penalty then, yes you are right he would have been criticised by me and others. But as far as I'm concerned Stearman isn't in the same class as Batth and although he is playing better now than I have ever seen him play before, I always have the feeling that he is always on the limit of his ability and a free kick or a penalty shout against him is never far away.

In short, when Danny makes a blunder everyone is shocked, when Stears does it no-one is surprised.

The resurgence he started what a load of bòllocks.

If he was that good why was he sacked? Quite rightly too.

Perton you really are naiive.
I can't believe that anyone who reads this forum on a regular basis can fail to see that Bute's statement "We're building on the resurgence he started, and thankfully the blip from Connor, Stale, and Dean hasn't affected things too badly overall" could be taken as anything but a wind-up.
How old are you?

posted on 31/8/14

Perton, obsessions are never a healthy thing and your anti-Mick McCarthy obsession is certainly a cause for concern for your loved ones. Do you have any loved ones?
Certainly not on this forum you don't!
