Poor angle from the express. However your youth policy is almost non existent.

There is not a good enough English player, foreign players are better and cheaper.

We have the best youth team, yet none are close to overtaking anyone in the first team. High standards for a top club fighting on all fronts.

Bertrand has been the closest and he is extremely average. Terry was the last one, he was world class being named in the fifa team of the year multiple times, and part of the best defence in the league ever, which conceded 15 goals. The opportunity is there, you just have to be good enough.

What about him? Extremely overhyped by people on this board. As with Mirislov Stoch, Scott Sinclair and some even with Borini. Average players, that should be nowhere near a squad looking to win big trophies.

To be fair the problem is across the board. Apart from perhaps Raheem Sterling, I can't think of a single youth product from a top 5 team who is even threatening to become a world beater. Universal problem that has been caused by (as pointed out before) the huge gulf between the first team standard and youth team standard.

Sturridge is not doing bad as well.

From the whole England team apart from our own players only Rooney would even make our bench. How can we be a top side and have English players in the side, it is impossible.

I like Jack Rodwell and if he can get over his injury issues he can become a world class player. Barkley, Walcott and Stirling are also pretty good but as you can see they all play for decent clubs but how many English players are playing at Real Madrid, Barca and Bayern ???

Let's face it we're not the only culprits. Barely any team produces decent English talent. Arsenal and United don't develop it, they buy it which people often forget.

One positive is our youth team who have win several trophies over the past 3-4 years, the majority of those are English.
