Yeah what Mex said, despite Blind coming in we are still after another CM and CB. I don't think those targets will come in though, only 38 hours left of the window.

I think a midfield of Blind Herrera and Di Maria is more than strong enough to last till the January window where we are looking to get Strootman in.

Surely blind will operate as DM and the carrick & Herrera as other CMs with Rooney up top and Januzaj and Angel playing either side as a 4-3-3

I'm of the opinion LVG deliberately played a daft formation to get his way knowing he could sacrifice the first three games?

A new cm is a priority, maybe even 2. Don't really want to see anymore defenders personally. That would mean we would be sticking with 352 IMO if we were to buy another defender.

I really want a midfielder that can give the defence some confidence, fletcher doesn't do that which is why they kept getting pressed yesterday.

The last deadline day wasn't exciting at all, because the only player who was going to sign was Fellaini, everyone hoped his car would crash, or he'd get run over on his way

I just read someone at the game yesterday had talked to Carrick who said he's still out for another 6 weeks.

I didn't hope that. Most fans didn't in fact that I know.

I'd love a reidiculous deadline day. I'd love a cb and another RB so that we never have to play Valencia!

Wasn't necessarily Fletchers fault because he was predominantly in a midfield of 1 with Mata and Di Maria far to wide from him.

Like I said it was a tactical disaster from LVG.

Think we are done, to be honest.

To play Di Maria in a central midfiled is a complete waste of his talents.

We still need a decent centre half and a decent CM defensive player. Over to ed.

He played there for Madrid last year RBW and he was great in that role.

^^^ Seems almost entirely true!!

We will need to buy a quality CB. we only have 3 experience CBs and non of them are reliable to stay fit or perform well throughout the season. that is not good enough for a three CB system or a two CB system. We will buy a quality CB in this window or within next 12 months imo.
