Tim questioned the heart and gut of the team last season.
You would really think we'd be straining every sinew to get revenge. Didn't see any of it.
I agree, I wonder how gutted the players are after the game, I doubt that many are that bothered.
I reckon lots of our players are Liverpool fans
I reckon lots of our players are Liverpool fans
Thing is nowadays there's no attachment to the club other than a wage slip. We can only hope that working as a team and desire to win can be coached in or it may be the "slackers" need to go and get in some not so talented but willing to work players.
So what is with Sandro?
Is he still on the roster?
And Paulinho?
We should be able to beat a Liverpoll team that is still dependent on a fifty year old Gerrard.
Liverpool are a good team but not that good.
Good manager has them working hard to regain the ball with bags of pace to attack.
Wish we had that. Definitely a starker needed
Isn't Soldado a striker?
Yeah in position only hes on strike mosta the time
We made Pool look better than they actually are, and the refereeing favouritism changed the whole dynamic and flattered the scoreline.
Poch maybe got his team selection wrong in certain areas today, but that should be expected occasionally as he continually learns about the squad.

To be honest, I never felt like spurs would score!
Your all guff and no end product, and as for Lamela!
He's rubbish no pace, no eye for goal really is a poor buy.
The worst thing to happen to spurs was last week result, you will not play a less disinterested team than them, you seem okay, nice tidy football Until a top team come and force you to play their way. You just do t haver enough quality in ya team.
Spurs should be happy with 5 th this seaon.
Once we produce our next world class performance at home against burnley am sure our fans will be here in droves letting us know how world class our players are. Our fans should put this performance in our memory bank so we stop going OTT each time we win. There are a few teAms better thAn us at the mo who have spent top dollar on proper players . We need to build and Poch and it will take time .
But it's important to see progress and a style of play . Was today's performance an upgrade at the same time last season . Not as bad as the 5-0 tonking but still way below par which for me is the disappointing aspect . COYS!

I thought Liverpool played some decent stuff today after being outplayed by Soton and City, albeit aided at times by the referee.
I see no reason why they can not battle all the way with United for 7th place this season, and who knows many more refereeing performances like today and they could even take 6th off Everton.
As for Balotelli, what a poor buy and is already looking like another £16m down the drain, chance after chance missed, lazy, full of ego and missed an open goal, an awful forward.
Spurs did not really turn up today and nobody had a good game, the comments about Lamela are widely inaccurate, he put in a motm performance against (a poor) QPR side and will get better and better the more he plays, he has still only played a handful of PL games.
Liverpool should be happy with 6th or 7th this season, after spending £140m.

The penalty was farcical, and should have seen Allen given a second yellow for diving, which at 1 nil would have meant 40 mins against 10 men. Not to mention two pens for Spurs denied towards the end for handball and shirt pulling.
Liverpool were the better team on the day, but a vital decision went against Spurs at a crucial time.
Rubbish
The pen was a pull back in the box, that is a stonewall pen.
Allen's fall was theatrical and I dont like to see it but isnt diving defined as going to ground without contact? If so then it wasnt a dive.
Spurs did deserve 1 pen towards the end for shirt pulling but it would have made no difference to the result and could even have been missed.
Agree that Liverpool were better on the day and fully deserved all 3 points.
The clear problem for us today in my view was the pressing game - it's clear that there hasn't been enough time for Poch to fully implement it and the whole team to fully embrace and understand. Against QPR we did a great job of it, but against better quality opposition it was clear we were too scared of pressing and closing down for fear of leaving space for them to attack in. Which left us sort of halfway between, the worst place to be. And Liverpool took full advantage.
Unlucky today guys, I was kindly invited by a spurs friend to the game today so got to see it first hand. First half the game was very even, at half time it could have been 3-3 if both teams had taken their chances, we probably just shaded it.
After the break we started quickly and got the penalty, dubious from my angle and was not impressed by the exaggeration in the fall. Aparrently there was contact to some on here. It's a shame as it was a real good game up until then and when it went to 2-0 it was tough for you guys to come back, particularly after we shut up shop after the third goal and controlled the game.
Score line was probably harsh in the end but I suppose we were just a bit more clinical. It reminded me of the game against City where we were on the receiving end and the game didn't show in the final result. I was impressed and think you have a good chance of top 4, best of luck for the rest of the season.

Nonsense.
If you are awarding penalties for touching an opponent in that manner, you will be awarding one every time there is a corner or free kick sent into the penalty area.
