If Woodward has convinced Monaco to pay part of Falcao's wages, maybe some people will find it within them to forgive the 'clueless joker' for the terms under which Nani has been loaned to Sporting?
It's sureal.
Sounds like we will be paying £200k a week (still insane, of course).
Basically, Monaco are paying Nani's wages for us
Sounded like he was also offered to City but they couldn't fit him in their squad so passed up the offer.
Can anyone give a genuine view on his current condition, I hope it's just me being overly cautious but is he over his injury, has he lost any qualities since his return? Seems strange that Real never took up the offer as I'm sure they would have if they wanted him.
If we are getting the Falcao we saw at Atletico then I'd be over the moon.
I have never witnessed anything like this in my 30 years of knowingly supporting Utd as well.
It also explains why a lot of our players have been timid on the pitch. They know their time is up
Good for Woodward if he did sort out the wages and fees as has been reported.
Let's just hope he fits in the team.
I don't know how this has happened, when Madrid and City were apparently interested.

This is the big question..
Why are monaco, so dogged in their pursuit of him as a "Statement of intent" Whóring him round europe? its started with a 12 mill fee and his wages and they have had to drop their demands.. why are they desperate to get rid? its not like they need the money is it?
i wonder if his injury has affected his game so they are trying to offload him to recoup some of the loss, i.e. torres to chelsea. at least you can send him back after the loan if you want
Could it be that FFP is biting Monaco too, hence their need to get rid of him? (That might explain willingness to subsidise wages.)
Perhaps City were also slightly FFP-bound. Rumours that they needed to offload Negredo first.
As for Real, we evidently sent Hernandez to distract them. Told him that whenever the president's phone rang he had to do jazz hands, etc., otherwise the move would fall through.
You all do know if Rojo is not signed off today by the prem he will have to go back on loan. Blind deal still not confirmed as well.
Will be interesting to see the Gooner board implode, if news of the £6m loan figure is true.
That's the thing, if he is crocked at least it's just a loan for now.
I guess the risk is fairly low for someone who could potentially be brilliant. Exciting either way.

He has been signed off by the prem, the work permit is an Argentine thing
Regarding Rojo, I think the worst that can happen is he will have to do community service in England for his incident with is neighbour back in Argentina.
Don't think it's anything to be too worried about.

If he doesn't have a work permit he can't be put into the 25 man squad.
I hope you guys can see the humour in this

Reminds me of the one they posted when kenny bought 3 midfielders to add to the five we already had!
Man Utd are now reminiscent of two halves of different shaped cars welded together
The attacking side of the team looks like a European fantasy football wet dream.
The problem is the defensive side of the team resembles a team QPR would put out. Smalling, not good enough, Jones, not good enough, Rafael, not good enough, Rojo not sure yet etc etc
I just do not understand Woodward and Van Gaals approach

Maybe he can do some work with the homeless?
And go house-hunting in Cheshire with Di Maria, Blind and Falcao
The right side of defence and midfield is overrated anyway.

No, it's a British thing. You can't get a work permit in the UK whilst under a criminal investigation, I believe.

its not that simple though IMO, for that he needs to plead guilty, at which point he gets a criminal record and the work permit gets even tighter..
He also fails the 75% international performances over the last two seasons rule, which the FA promised they were tightening up on this season. do you have any links to show the FA have signed off on him?

There was a BBC article a couple days ago explaining it. It made out it should be ok.
