Not the signing that most people would want, but I honestly think he would improve us a lot. His goalscoring record isn't great, but I think the fact that he seldom plays up-front consistently has a lot to do with this.
His link-up play is actually very underrated, he's very athletic, and he's very hard-working.
I still think we'd need another CB at the very least though - and ideally a new DM.
I do look forward to the meltdown articles, its bad that if we did get him he'd be our current best choice
No chance after Vermaelen.
Welbeck is better than Giroud and Sanogo. Would suit Sanchez and Ozil. His pace makes so much space for players around him.

RAP you should watch sanogo more if you think that
If we were to get him, it better be permanent. No way should we be developing a player for United.
Sanogo is basically Welbeck but French. Pacey, relatively quick, can run really fast, rapid, athletic in a running sense.
And French.
Jokes aside though Welbeck would actually work really well in our team. Tall fast work horse who wins headers and can hold up ball for our talented players. It would no way appease the fans though after seeing the likes of Falcao and Balo going elsewhere
Relative to Giroud, he's Bolt.
TBH, Wenger has taken worse tripe than Welbeck, who knows he might flourish at Arsenal given the chance, look at Sturridge at Liverpool.
Things are getting desperate when piers Morgan is being used as a source.

he's really not
Sturridge had talent though. Under AVB he was shining. Welbeck has always looked wack
