It all depends how they fit in and adjust to the PL, but yes on paper much stronger

Wouldnt say strong. Stronger, yes.

OP

Powell shouldn't be mentioned anywhere near our midfield.

He isn't a midfield player.

---------------De Gea----------
Rafael---jones---rojo----Shaw
----------------Blind----------------
----Herrera----------Di Maria----
-----------------mata-------------
---------Falcao----Rooney----------

That's £100mil+ spent in the CM area with 3 beans new players there. The balance is perfect as blind will sit, Herrera and di Maria do box to box. Mata will also drop back to help out.

Strootman to come next summer or jan to give us another option as well. CM surely can no longer be deemed our weak point now??

Should be adequate for outside the top 4. Think City and Chelsea would ruin us.

Also think we will be 'doing an Anderson' if we insist on playing Di Maria in CM

We don't need a box to box CM. If you look at the 41212 formation I posted just now, we need a CM who just sits while Herrera and Di maria go box to box.

In Carrick and blind, we have 2 players who are extremely disciplined and will protect he back 4. 3 box to box CMs would be suicide

We are lot stronger now at CM than we were 3 months ago. In Herrera and Blind, we got two CMs who are comfortable on the ball, has a good vision and a passsing range, has good tactical awareness and workrate. Those two are also not afraid to to get stuck in.

Its not guaranteed to be a success in PL but I think we will have a better central midfield than anything we had for a long time.

I wont mind a midfield destroyer like De jong but rather we keep the money and spend big on top quality CM signing to replace Carrick next summer.

We dont have many games this season so 2 of those 3 will be able to play more than 90% matches imo.

Who would have thought yesterday that so many utd fans would be listing starting XI's without RVP today?!

plus, In Blind we got a genuinely good looking player since Ronaldo, thats another positive, something for the marketing team to work on

How is blind good looking. He looks like smeegle before he turned into that monster thing.

Out of our signings, DI Maria is clearly the easiest on the eye

Blind isn't a midfield general though. He is a good player but he isn't a vidal or strootman type of midfielder a midfielder who doesn't mind roughing people up,getting stuck into tackles and yet has the stamina to run box to box.

From the single game I've seen him play for Ajax, he was better on the ball than I expected, and started a lot if attacks with good forward passes.

No seriously, If Blind turned out to be decent he will be the next "face" of United, Remember when Beckham used to be the face of football

To QPR, because he's not very good, don't know why some people wanted him for us, he was good for about 6 months for Spurs 2 years ago, and people never forgot that for some reason
