Don't you doubt it!

As i said on an earlier thread : 'I suspect we will have iterations of articles like this with each Welbeck meagre exploit in Arsenal colours - especially if it coincides with troughs we experience.

The fact is: the lad is gone! We should move on! He has.'

Welbeck became world class yesterday night

Just of note re expenditure AFC have a circa £100m net spend since 1996. You guys did that (and more) in one transfer window so difficult to draw comparisons.

I remember when England used to play and Welbeck used to get in ahead of Walcott and Ox and the outrage from the Arsenal board.

United fans can now return the favour if they wish.

Lots of United fans rightly rate Welbeck, especially for England

If arsenal had bid for welbeck last week the arsenal board would have gone into a meltdown of the likes we've never seen but because they didn't have time to moan and bîtch he's the next Henry!

Hang on.

I know plenty of Arsenal fans who have not said those things about Welbeck.

By all means call out individual cases of hypocrisy, but you can't start laughing at Arsenal fans for being happy about the Welbeck signing if they're not the ones who slated him.

Hope you enjoyed your summer. You seen the new Liga thread for the season? Won't be around today as it's my eldest's birthday, but hope to see you round to hear your opinions on how we (Madrid) have made a mockery of ourselves. Again.

Why are Liverpool fans so concerned with Arsenals dealings? fans don't get to pick who their club buys, but whoever they do, we support them, it's football.
No-one has claimed he's the next Henry BUT i do think he is better than what we already have, so for that, i'm a little bit pleased.

Why single out Liverpool fans? We're all having a laugh!

There’s no doubting that Welbeck received criticism from many Arsenal fans, however this derision was similarly replicated by numerous United fans.

The way I see it if a languid Giroud can contribute 20+ goals a season there is nothing to suggest a quick and mobile Welbeck cannot provide similar. Especially in light of the creative players behind him.

Nothing RM does this days surprises me in the slightest. Though, i had to check that the Hernandez story was not an April Fool joke.

Tbf, this time i doff my hat to Uncle Flo. Getting 'silly money' for Di Maria (and Alonso) effectively funded J-Rod. And Kroos is a fine addition.

One thing's for sure, Arsenal have by far and away the quickest team. They'll blitz teams with their pace... it just remains to be seen whether they can capitalise on that advantage.

But Madrid would have been better off keeping Di Maria and Alonso and not signing J. rod

Maybe MUDD, but Kroos is better than Alonso of 31/32. He is a proper midfielder, Angel is not.

Bale effectively replaced Angel. Kroos replaces Alonso.

J.Rod, another vanity purchase! All in all, not that bad actually.

They could have signed Kroos and kept the other 2

OP I don't think you should be calling out people's fickleness considering you can go from the verge of a breakdown to billy big bóllocks during 1 game
