I don't have a problem with it being powell...just the timing...had he come int first week then fair do,s
but to let a caretaker run the show for weeks and get the lads playing again and fans on side...just to bring a new man in is poor!
Thats my only grumble really!

But if we come out all negative against boro he will get crucified on datm

The proof though will reveal itself in due course...but..I've a feeling Chris Powell is his own man...and I expect the protracted negotiations has been due to Powell setting out the boundaries by which he will work...

Okay, they have to buy into the 'overall vision' of the club...but tbh that's not much different to many other clubs' vision is it...bring the kids thru',... buy players to make a profit on...comply with FFP.... ?

That is Deano's area...what I'm interested in is the 'style' of football. Dean seemed to salivate at the Mark Robins vision for the game...tippy tappy...but it was total garbage, we didn't have (and couldn't afford) the quality players to play that way...so Robins walked.

Surely Powell will not buy into more 'tippy tappy' ...but will it be the high intensity up and at 'em stuff we've been crying out for ....will he bring his own back room staff....(well he didn't have any did he as he was out of work)....

So, maybe the delay in appointment has been due to Dean realising he has to change his perception of how the game is going to be played from now on..?
