I don't understand why anyone would want him in the country anymore.

Best centre forward in the world, City need to keep a hold of him!

I'm fairly sure that Tevez is just expressing what most people feel who live in Manchester for any length of time.

Seriously, I cannot believe that the guy has lived in this country for all these years without even learning the language
---------------------------------
have you heard him in interviews?

he doesn't come across as someone who could learn anything remotely academic in a hurry.

That's not trying to diss him, he is a quality player, but he does seem a little... er... limited, intellectually.

What I find the most interesting fact here, is that so many folk have taken soooo long to find out that wee Carlos is a money grabbing slime bag with little interest in anything other than himself!

Would you like a lemon with that bitter Dennis?

"Fergie sign him up, Fergie, Fergie sign him up"

Not sure Cityblue, I didn't see that poll I was too busy living in the European Capital of Culture and enjoying our lower crime rate, great restaurants and wonderful humour

I see Dennis has continued where he left off on 606, making bitter and fairly childish comments for an alleged grown man.
We're Man Un***d we say what we want" yes, real class fans.

tevez will always be a legend for me! if and when he goes i'll say thank you for the memorys especial rejecting the rags
don't care if he's slagged of my home City , i bet i'd hate to live in argentina!

Denis that may be the case, but at least he puts a shift in while he is doing it. How many others can you say the same about?

Well here's an idea for you Carlos - LEARN ENGLISH!

==========================

Why should he learn English just because he lives in England? It's not like the hundreds of Britons who move to Spain every year learn Spanish...

Didi hamman, culture is another word for bacteria, you can say what you like but to those in the know Manchester is the best place in England for nightlife and entertainment, why is it liverpool players and famous people staying in liverpool come to manchesters posh restraunts to eat???I am yet to witness this famous scouse sence of humour although with that silly eeeyyygh laaaaaarghhh accent you might be funny as hell but impossible to. comprehend

As for Dennis, is this the same tevez thats a headless chicken an will only score 5 goals a season that you told us about after you failed to sign him up, you can certainly be depended opon to Cary on making bitter remarks about tevez, it still gets to you rags to this day doesn't it, about money then, do you believe Rooney Signed for love of the club and not the whopping great pay rise you gave him "he needs the money for hookers and hair gel" if Hernandez gets this treble his current salary to keep him out of real Madrids clutches will you say he's there for the love of the club and not the money?

Erm, pretty much every United player.

If your only requirement from a player is putting in a shift then your in trouble.

You lot can defend Tevez all you like, if your happy to have a guy who loved the club slate the city in which it's based after spending 4 year in it and still unable to speak a word in English, then your welcome to him.

As for the comments about Hernandez, what has he got to do with Tevez? Hernandez has been here for less than a year, speaks English, Spanish and portugueas, plays football with a smile on his face, scores some fantastic goals and hasn't mentioned once wanting to leave or maoning about the food .........................................................................................

Yes he's exactly the same

If Hernandez is at man u for the love of the club then why would you have to treble his salary to stop him going to Madrid? Can't wait to see how your man u logic explains that!

posted on 7/6/11

It's not like you to make one!

Yes I noted it, but who cares, it aint gonna happen he only signed last year, he might get an increase (he deserves one) after what he achieve in his first year but it won't be to keep him away from spain

Then why give it, surely he plays for the love of man u, or is it that he like others is interested in money!

Why should he learn English just because he lives in England? It's not like the hundreds of Britons who move to Spain every year learn Spanish...

I moved to Spain and lived there for 5yrs. I took a basic Spanish course in my first few months and was fluent within 18 months. I would never have expected the people around me to have to try and translate or accommodate because I simply 'coouldn't be bothered' to try and communicate with them. There may be thousands of English workers that head over to Spain every year, but they largely work in bars, clubs and restaurants in holiday resorts where they have little need to speak Spanish. They are employed by English ex-pats and return at the end of the summer season.

Carlos Tevez has committed his future to Manchester City football club and has lived here for 5yrs. Your attempted comparison doesn't bare any similarity. When McManaman went to Real, he learned the language. He stayed on and enjoyed his time there. Owen didn't and returned with his tail between his legs before joining NUFC.

Footballers are paid ridiculous salaries. The least they can do when committing themselves to a contract is learn the language of the country they are living in. City have to take 50% of the blame here though. Had they made it compulsory for all players to learn English they wouldn't find themselves in this mess. However - out of all the different nationalities City have on their books, only one - Tevez - is making an issue about it. Obviously the others have made the effort to learn English so they settle in a country prepared to pay them huge amounts of money for their services. Carlos - GO HOME!
