You can argue that price aside, Spurs showed a lack of foresight with Schneiderlin (not anticipating no sells if Soton got asset-stripped - there was only so much the supporters would publically take) .
to be fair, it looked as if we moved on schneiderlein as soon as world cup was over, but liverpool just moved before the world cup on lallana and lambert, and lovren straight after.
maybe we didnt anticipate that

You also have the problem that Pochettino may not have been able to do sufficient "due diligence" on the Spurs squad to decide immediately that Scheiderlin was a must for him. He obviously used pre-season to decide who was definite/possible departures.
And on that note, given that Lennon decided to stay, he should be given the chance to prove his case on merit.

Agreed, although he may not suit the 4231 formation Lennon's pace is a weapon we should look to exploit.
Good to hear Poch isn't under pressure, we already look like a team again, making chances and defending properly!

First 3 make sense but point number 4 will probably depend on circumstances and fan reaction

Why would you want to avoid giving anyone within Spurs any credit?
Admitting "bias" doesn't really do much for a poster on a debating site.
I'm not surprised Lennon turned down QPR. Even if he's not an automated starter in the league, he'll still get enough games to warrant staying - assuming we get reasonably far in the EL and dont get knocked out the domestic cups too early. Fair play .
