I did get the advert and I am all for it, I have gáy friends and I do not care if a person is Gáy or not, if I like the person thats all that counts, gáy, black, brown, white, Christian, Muslim, Jéw, Hindu etc, makes no different...

But it does not mean we cannot have fun, I am brown and if someone does a racial joke at work I am the 1st to give the punchline (unless I tell the whole joke 1st)

Racial or prejudice is only hurtful when you allow it to be, having a laugh now and again is not harmful......

I get that, Deen and I wasn't implying that your comment was homophobic or anything, just that you seemed to be missing the point of the advert.

Exactly how many openly gay professional football players are there in the EPL - in the world?
How many gay players have come out?

I think there's around...hmmmm... maybe none. Perhaps two.

And can you see some kind of connection between that and 'having a little laugh every now and again'?

I didn’t get this advert, it’s meant to be anti homophobic but then has Giroud at the end being overly camp spraying fake tan on like he’s taking the pissh….?
Or it does come across a little that way…

So you never ever done this before (maybe no for gáy) but for other stereotypes...

Look we are humans, we are not perfect, I am not prejudice in anyway, but you have to have a laugh, I just showed this to one of my friends who is gáy at work, he laughed and agreed with me.....Its Giroud, his exact words are ' we are a gáy radar and its definitely picking up Giroud'

People on here tend to be too serious or too extreme.

Lighten up a bit, have fun, I am not taking the mickey of gáys....

Doesn't surprise me that Giroud would miss the point by a yard or two when all he needs to do is read from the script.

The players are saying:

"i cant help that i......"

As in, "i cant help i look like Lewis Hamilton", "i can help im gourgous", "i cant help i look like a teenage mutant ninja turtle"

The message being people cant help that they are gay.

Its not that difficult really.

I imagine everyone on here understands the advert and the message, it’s just that I find Giroud’s bit at the end one of the campest things I’ve ever seen and if Giroud is NOTgay then it comes off like he’s taking the pissh, but that’s just what I get from it

Reading through all these comments I must say the spot is spot on. Pay attention to a problem that exist in our society. The players playing with all the images people get from them. Well done Arsenal

Basically that was meant to be Giroud's public video apology for his hooker shágging but he just made an excuse for it.

Giroud is playing to his French Pretty Boy stereotype, perfect hair etc etc, not taking the mick out of gay on a "be nice to gay" advert

They are picking faults with themselves, not all based on stereotypes. For someone claiming to understand the advert & message, you're doing a pretty good job of making it look like you dont!!!

I can see the funny side, thought it was hilarious.
Just found the Giroud bit odd as it was one of the campest things i've ever seen which seemed a bit pissh take, but thats just me...and maybe only me...so no worries
