not overley been impressed by city so far this season to be honest.

lost to Stoke while looking unimpressive and were dominated by Liverpool in the first half and should have gone in behind..

to be honest Chelsea and Liverpool despite the city defeat have been the most impressive for me this season out of the teams you'd be expecting to compete for the top 4.

early days yet though and could be a good time for Arsenal to play them before they get into their stride.

Great choice.

Reasons to be cheerful then.

3. Apart from Bayern, Arsenal show you the least amount of respect out of anyone.

Was it after the 5th or 6th goal went in last year that you thought perhaps we should've shown them a bit more respect?

That's the point.

Bayern and Arsenal don't show YOU respect.

You won't find us fielding a team of defensive midfielders and trying to steal one on the break a la Chelsea.

Tbh, thats the best thing to do, esp when your at their ground, last year we tried to fight fire with fire and got blown away numerous times.
If we done a CFC and won the game, i wouldn't give a feck, just want the points.

Look I don't want any trouble with you son - but we are Arsenal :

"What's this Chelsea shi t? What's this bullshi t? I don't feckin' care! It don't matter to Jesus. But you're not foolin' me, man. You might fool the fecks in the league office, but you don't fool Jesus. This Bush-league psyche-out stuff. Laughable, man – ha ha! I would have fecked you in the ass Saturday. I feck you in the ass next Wednesday instead. Wooo! You got a date Wednesday, baby!"

I doubt we will go 442. Even if we do, we will sit back in the first half like we did against Liverpool. I'm concerned due to Jovetic being out and having Bayern a couple of days after though.

"lost to Stoke while looking unimpressive and were dominated by Liverpool in the first half and should have gone in behind.."

I don't agree with that, Liverpool still created nothing in that first half. They had the ball but that's because we allowed them to, we wanted to counter attack them like they normally do to us and that's exactly what worked.

Having more of the ball does not mean being in control of the game. That was a thoroughly deserved win and tactically Pellegrini got it spot on.

Melton,

i thought your passing was pretty poor in that Liverpool game in the first half to be honest mate, my opinion wasnt just based on the fact you sat and let Liverpool come at you.

when you did get possession you couldnt keep it.

If there's one thing that Arsenal thrive on, crave for, will kill for - it's misplaced passes by the opposition in their own half.

WTF are you talking about? how did we go from talking about football to getting fecked in the ass?

The idea of us selling out by playing defensive, counter fills me with dread.

We are Arsenal of Invincibles, total football pedigree.

As for the quote, do not be alarmed, The Big Lebowski is compulsory watching for any Arsenal fan.

I understand what your saying, but we HAVE to use some sort of tactics against stronger opposition, too many times we have just tried to play the Arsenal way and been beaten.
ps, i've never seen The Big Lebowski, i dont really like Jeff bridges as an actor.

The passing could have been better, but we were attacking at pace rather than keeping possession. Even with that, we had more shots and possession than they did and had better chances, Hart wasn't tested once.

I get we weren't at our best, that was still better than Liverpool though.

If Arsenal play the usual high line they could be hurt badly on the counter.
