It's great news! They have been the best by a country mile, and so they should be really.
With the squad we have we should dominate for quite a while!
Wonderful news. Topped by Mr Balance and Mr Root doing well for England too.
The Rhino's have been doing well for a period now, so all we need is for Leeds United to start following suit and the city will be buzzing.
Gelder
Have the squad will end up in England side, so probably won't dominate
Lyth
Root
Ballance
Bell
Bairstow
Morgan
Rashid
Bresnan
Broad
Plunkett
Anderson
All 7 yorkshire players could easily play for England & arguably should be.
Thats leaving out Brooks whos bowled brilliantly.
Plenty of good youth in the 2nd XI and in the acadamy as well
I think 4 or 5 will, and most of them have at some point, but there is still enough depth to be competitive at county level.
Would be a blow if Lyth ever got a central contract
is there a sidebottom jnr jnr in the upcoming ranks?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would be a real shame if he didnt get the chance for England though, considering that Robson & Compton & Carberry have had chances on the back of much worse seasons than the one Lyth is having.
Rashid is better than Ali, and Plunkett/Bresnan better than Woakes, Finn, and Tremlett.
Buttler is probably on par with Bairstow.
Realistically:
Cook
Lyth
Ballance
Root
Bell
Morgan
Rashid
Buttler
Bresnan
Broad
Anderson
I was surprised that Bresnan didn't get a central contract yesterday, he has always been consistent for England
Absolute gutter, weather plays such a huge part, most of our games (Somerset) at the start of the season were wiped out losing all momentum and less possibility of points. On a personal level I had to miss the Somerset Major cup final at the County Ground.......my club won 😨
I'm at Headingly for 4 days on the 23rd against Somerset.
You going?
Nope, my holiday is already booked for the year.
Thought this was an LUFC thread DOH!!

It is, look at the last line of the OP and you'll see them mentioned.
Leeds Rhinos
Yorkshire CCC
Leeds United next??
Well done YCCC, but they have an Aussie coach. A bit of an unfair advantage really

I honestly think if we get rid of Tresco we'll be up there with you, he's a rubbish captain.
