Simply they don't have to as the clubs have the demand with their current prices and considering how difficult it is to overtake others, they need every penny to do so.
If every club were to agree with it, then great but until then, I can't see any club setting an example.

It would just take some committed and coordinated effort to stop this.
If we gentile organised boycotts of games things would have to change. It would need some short term pain, but looking at how much we are being exploited, aren't the long term gains worth it?
I've attended very few games during past 10 seasons for these very reasons.

my season ticket as a senior was £315 which this season is £16.58 per game--a bargain
my younger mates pay something like £420 which is £22.10-----£1.90 cheaper than the adult price to see 2 guys on horseback pretending to fight at warwick castle.
when i was a lad i used to pay 1/6d to enter the kop but at that time my dad was bringing up 5 kids on a tenner a week--the world keeps turning and if you want cheap football you need to become independant and move to scotland
Too expensive for me to go , as in I can't justify that spend on a match by match basis. Ground needs to be bigger whilst the demand is still there, but you can almost guarantee a massive drop in form and interest in the foxes once the ground is extended.
