30 million or not, Tyler Blackett should not be dropped. He has looked our best and most assured defender since the season started. Don't care how young you are, talent and hard work should be rewarded with game time, and not huge fees.

And i'm glad LVG thinks the same.
Blind is neither good or bad. He's a DM playing against this woeful QpR side. Judge him another day. He's just gotta do the basics today. That's all. And he's doing them.
Rooney scored and got a assist! He's been better than Blind!

Rojo as made a few mistakes but expected with his first game at OT. Would like to see him at CB thought.
Carrick would be a better option if he was allowed to use a jet back to get around the pitch
Nobody should get (and probably are not getting) carried away by this, but it does represent a good chance to get some confidence back.
A scoring debut for our number 9 would be nice too!
Since I joined the thread late - did anyone else hear what Real Madrid said to ADM on the day of the WC final?
Rojo has also done well and its good to see he's already struck up a relationship with Rooney
Really like Blind.
Positionally solid, knows when to press and when to sit and looks to move forward into pockets of space to receive the ball.
Not quite on Carrick's level of passing but looks solid, slightly more mobile/energetic version of Carrick.
A word on Herrera... Love his industry, willingness to run beyond the opposition midfield and tenacity. Between Herrera, Blind and Carrick we've got good options there it looks like. How refreshing.
I to think Scholes was critical of Herrera.
TRC, he's the forgotten man because he's been suffering injuries and was poor last season.
I think he'll still have a lot to offer, even if he's no longer a guaranteed starter.
The reason we are playing less long balls is because we are playing four at the back. I mentioned this the other day. It's much easier for us to play out the back with a back four because there are more numbers across the backline so the passes aren't forced.
Blind reminds me of Hargreaves.
Everything looks in place now, if this team gels wecan compete
Scholes was a great player but has proven pretty clueless since
Blackett has really impressed me, like the look of him a lot. This formation, I do think teams could get down the flanks as the fullbacks are getting forward a lot.
Di Maria is substantially the best player on the pitch though. Herrera, I don't think is as good as some others do.
Fletcher for Blind at half time. QPR have been breaking forward quite easily. Their downfall has been sitting back too much.
United need defensive stability
Blind is better than carrick far more mobile.
and Herrera has been our best players.
di maria's had good moments, but has lost the ball cheaply. If nani had done that, people would be going ape.

Fletcher should be nowhere near the pitch.
It still doesn't feel like i'm watching Man U. The whole style of play feels odd. Love the way Daley Blind is comfortable on the ball in his first match.

He was moaning about Wilshire again after yesterdays result.

Bit premature to call Blind better than Carrick.
QPR have defended really well and we still scored 3 goals. If QPR start making more mistakes then we might get more chances 2nd half then we did 1st half and hopefully Falcao comes on as well as Pereira.
