I dunno, I reckon he's still got one or two in his locker. He almost had an o.g. yesterday but it hit the post.
Other than that he is top class so not arguing with that.
Every defender is capable of mistakes (see Terry yday) but it's no longer a natural part of Kos' game anymore I feel very safe with him.
On the flipside Merts is concerning me quite a bit now, he's just too slow for the bigger games
This is a little bit over the top.
When did he keep Messi in his pocket? And RVP scored against you lot last season and the season before...
Also Koscielny may have kept Suarez off the scoresheet but the rest of that Liverpool XI still put 5 past your defense.
I've always though he's the type of defender that looks great but is somewhat deceptive. His pace and calmness on the ball hide the fact that he's quite often at fault for headed goals and has a rash mistake lingering in him at all times
The goals we concede in open play are usually down to the midfield though. Our defenders look worse than they are because the midfield always leaves them exposed. Flamini was a joke for the 1st goal yesterday.
Other fans don't realise what a difficult job Arsenal's centre backs have had in the last few seasons. A lack of defensive effort from the midfield can leave them wide open to attack, as seen at Anfield and Stamford Bridge last season. It's easy being a centre back at teams where the midfield actually provide some sort of shield. Many defenders would be brutally exposed in our system.
Poor mans Cahill. Even chambers is better
Hahaha! Cahill is dreadful. Chelsea's system protects him. He looks like a fish out of water with England, he's also really susceptible in one-on-one situations.

Oh don't be so silly, Cahill has been performing so well for a long time now. Now Torres is gone we have no passengers, as if a centre half could be carried by a team and one that had the best defence in the league last year.
Cahill is extremely average

Chelsea are well organised defensively. It would be hilarious seeing Cahill in Arsenal's defence, with the lack of protection that would be offered to him.
Because you've seen more of Cahill than me.
This has got to be one of the most amusing articles I've ever read on this site.
Nobody outside of arsenal rates koscielny and he has had a nightmare stert to this season. At fault for 2 goals out of the first 4 conceded and yesterday was poor.(see his lack of attempt to block navas' cross for agueros goal)
Lazy, weak, poor concentration and just an average defender
Just read the comment that Cahill looks like a fish out of water for England he's England's most consistent performer. Very good player underrated coz he's not French with a flashy name

Obviously not. I'm just going by what I have seen from him.
As for the comments directly above..............
I think I’ve seen every Cahill performance for Chelsea, I don’t miss games. I’ve seen him live many times and I’ll re-watch them on TV for another perspective, if I’m not at the game I’ll watch it on TV, I’ll then watch the Sky extended highlights and again on MOTD, I know our players very well and I’ve seen some terrific centre backs come though the Bridge in recent years:
Terry
Cahill
Gallas (at his peak)
Desailly
Carvalho
Bogarde
Leboeuf
Alex
And Cahill compares favourably, he’s improved massively since he’s been at Chelsea. As one post (possibly yours) marks he’s poor one on one, that was a weakness when he first arrived but one Jose has taken out of his game. He has decent pace, a great header of the ball, great last ditch tackles, very good on the ball brining it out, good fitness and concentration and is a tough yet elegant player, he also has a brilliant understanding with Terry.
Our system has suited him and got the best from him no doubt but to suggest he is average is so wrong, he performs and performs, he’s been absolutely first rate.
Have a look out for him (not in a sheet England team, although I thought he was one of our better performers in the WC) and I think you’ll be surprised at how much he’s improved. When we signed him I was pleased but thought he was no more than a squad player, his game has come on bounds.
I will be paying special attention to him. I don't think he's one of the best in the league, but I am also of the opinion that there is a real dearth of quality centre backs nowadays.
