Imagine if Ed Woodward decided which players should be sold!
I thought Blind was great in Midfield with Herrera and it was great to see a midfielder, ADM, take players on.
It'll be a real selection headache for LVG for the attacking spots but I hope he can find a balance there.
Exciting times ahead and hopefully some confidence to take forward to the next game.
How is 60mil a bargain
------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Adam Lalana goes for £25m in the same window........£60m seems about right for a far far FAR FAR superior player.
Leave our Angel alone
Lallana wasnt a bargain we overpayed, so did you
A bargain is relative I suppose.
The fact is though that at no point today did I think it would be better for United to have that £60m in the bank.
Great to see an exciting performance at Old Trafford again.
Yeah I don't think the b1n d1pp3r really got the tongue in cheek comment.
Nobody who costs £60m can really be called a bargain really. I'm not that daft.
Although.......watching him today, his price tag all of a sudden didn't look as ott as it did 2 weeks ago.
Maria...........oh Di Maria..........Madrid....must be out of their mind.
(to the tune of the famous Blonde track)
Needs to do it every week
I don't think di maria leaving will effect Madrid too much. james isn't that far off his level.
what is hamstringing Madrid is the fact they inist on playing kroos and modric and not illiamendri.
they don't understand they cant play two creative midfielders with no defensive ability.
to be fair ronaldo at 80mill seems like a bargain now

ronaldo at 80 mil was a bargain for madrid
should have charged him double that
Well that because it waa years ago and prices have risen since then..
Great to see an exciting performance at Old Trafford again.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Against the poorest side in the division, God awful!
I think Di maria decided he was going to leave before Real was even interested in James.
From what Di Maria has said after leaving, he says it was down to the fact he didn't feel Real supported him or appreciated him.
Sending him that letter before the WC final was probably the final nail in the coffin for Angel

James is wayyyy overrated. Not a patch on Di Maria.
A 30m player at best.
Swapping Di Maria and Alonso over Rodriguez and Kroos was really a baffling move, but it takes time to integrate.
Heck, if it doesn't work out, we can always look at getting them on the cheap!
Against the poorest side in the division, God awful!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe......but we'd have put a lot of teams to the sword the way we played today. In total control and in cruise control most of 2nd half.

Poor opposition or not it was good to see United cruise in that second half.
Being greedy I'd have liked to see a few more goals but best save them for another time maybe?

that is the luxury we have nowadays. we only have 35 games or so left to play. go hell for leather every single game this year. then when back in Europe then we can learn to ease off the gas. easing off the gas has always irritated me no end though.
goals inspire confidence. confidence makes players play better. that goal difference could be crucial.
It's the old cliche of one game at a time.
We've got no worthless cup and no European games so LVG has plenty of time to Philosophize the hell out of them

I agree.
We really don't have an excuse not to go for it now until the end in every game.
Having lost a title on GD we need to make sure it never happens again.
