I'd imagine Newcastle fans will be happy with that. A good manager and Newcastle could be a good team with their squad. Massive payoff for Pardew though. I'm sure Newcastle fans will be hoping Ashley's next.
It's not the manager, it's the attitude of the players. Also, it raises the question: who decides which player is to be bought or sold by the club? Certainly not Pardew. All his fault is it then?

Pardew is not a bad manager and the grass isn't always greener...They hounded Allardyce out and were relegated 18 months later.
Doesn't matter. This is now the nature of the beast - perception is everything. If results don't go their way then they sack the manager - can't fire the squad. Instant results are all that matters.
Ashley should never have got carried away and given him an 8 year contract - or whatever it was. The fans are to blame as well - everytime a manager gets installed they call for his head.
I don't think he will sack him.
Ashley seems to enjoy wumming Newcastle fans.
Ashley has pardew paying off gambling debts so pays him a fraction of his wage apparently.
I would bet good money he is going nowhere and that backing is an actual backing.
I'm not sure what Newcastle fans want, they are not the club they were 1995-2003.
They have no chance of getting into the top 7 without serious investment...even Saints and Swansea are ahead of them in quality.
Pardew will do enough to keep them in the prem and stable getting rid of him is a big big risk.

It's his job to motivate his players to play for the club isn't it? If not one player is willing to put a shift in then it's not a coincidence
Apparently he owes Lambias the money, it's his casino, he'll work the debt off

Pardew himself debunks the gambling myth. He owes Ashley and the casinos nothing.
