Worst part if that there's still a huge section of Arsenal fans that think Wenger's still one the best managers in the game.

I feel like i've seen this thread before. Happens every single year when Arsenal get beaten by a class side in the Champions League. Yet nothing changes. A bit like us getting close to fourth and completely cocking it up.

Totally embarrassing - when they turned up the wick we couldn't handle them - Wenger didn't buy the DM we needed and other than The Ox & at times Wilshere we were just outclassed

There have been several of those. Dortmund battered us last season and were unlucky to lose. Napoli had us clinging on for dear life in the final minutes last season. Schalke have humiliated us twice. A crap AC Milan team destroyed us 4-0 at the San Siro. Frankly, we've been an utter waste of space in the CL for a good half-decade now. As I said, any decent team in the knockout rounds and we're out. But hey ho, we have an £8m a year genius with another 3 years on his contract. So much to look forward to.

Whoever's idea it was to bid AFTER we drew Dortmund in the CL for Sokratis and Reus should be sacked on the spot.
