different style suits him better

He was getting a lot of stick from fans. Good for him, he has show that he a actually a very good player.

Thing is he looked really shocking for you guys. You could've made a 3min video of comedy moments just from his two seasons in England.

Looks a completely different player right now though

You can't suggest that selling him was anything other than a good idea. Hindsight is 20/20.

Look what Wenger had done to him, Arshavin, Bendtner, Podolski, and recently Ozil.

Probably....but our relative ruthlessness where he was concerned is strange to me given how we tend to give similarly inferior players loads and loads of opportunities to get it right

he would have never played as well as he does now for us

He was awful for us, getting rid of him was the correct decision.

Oh fack off you clowns, he was awful for us. We definitely made the right decision to sell him.

He was rubbish and the fans turned on him. Giroud has these two characteristics too, so hopefully he's out of the door soon

So, who did we replace him with when we sold him last season? Gnabry? Ox? All that time when Walcott as injured, Gervinho would have added a lot to ur team as far as I'm concerned. Since we signed Alexis though, we certainly don't need him.

Fück me, Serge Gnabry... I'd completely forgotten about him! Wtf is going on with him anyway? Did he even make our CL squad?

Last weekend against City, Rosicky, Sanogo and Campbell didn't even make the bench. Add Walcott and Giroud to that... as well as Gnabry...

Unbelievable that Wenger could look at that squad during the summer and not see how totally unbalanced it is!

As for Gervinho, I'm pleased for him that Italy, and Rome in particular, seems to suit him, but I'm even mire pleased we no longer have to watch him stumbling his way round the Emirates every other week.
