ref was sheite how did dzeko get a yellow card for that tackle ?
Hopefully that gets hart going thought he was brillant tonight. Just need to win every game and beat them 2-1 at the etihad. Jokes a side they deserved to win but a winner in the 89th min deflected aswel is always gonna hurt.
That was really hard to take.

If Bayern Munich win all there games but (city game) lose to Man city 2-1 that means Bayern Munich will top the group if Man city also win there remaining 5 games.
ok i thought it went offgoals scored against each other if u end up on the same points, happy to be corrected if im wrong tho.

Remember last season Bayern Munich 2-3 Man city, Pellegrini didn't realise 1 more goal and Man city would have topped the group on away goals.
so its scoring more with the same aggregate, which 2-1 is
ok so it goes off away gosls.... just re read
Thought it was a very good performance considering we played with only ten men.
What happened to the red/yellow card for Alonso after that 2 footbed lunge on Fernandinho?
The only emotion I'm feeling is annoyed after that.
I just watched the highlights for your game and Bayern had so many chances, Hart did well.
More disappointed than annoyed. Particularly for Dzeko since he performed like we've always wanted him to.
Aguero could've nicked it in the end too. Ah well..
boris
i was screaming for that couldnt believe it, didnt even get a yellow did he?
That's exactly why I'm feeling annoyed by it, I thought the ref had a shocker.
Didn't book Robben for that dive, Silva should have got a penalty yet he still managed to book Dzeko for being fouled. A lot of these' 'top' European refs aren't fit for purpose.

Odd that you mention Fernandinho. Didn't even get booked for persistent fouling all night - though he had a great game.
Why are you guys always moaning about the ref after every negative result?
Bayern were surprisingly sloppier than usual in possession (tbf, Thiago, Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Ribery and Robben's absence may be contributory) but should have been out of sight before they scored. Can't you just accept the better team won?
They were better overall but once again the refereeing is a major talking point. In case you hadn't noticed, we were without Zabaleta and Jovetic plus our manager was banned.

If Robben went down exactly the way Silva did, I bet you'd claim it was a dive. Perhaps, he wasn't booked because Fernandino actually did put his arm across Robben to block him, even though it wasn't a pen in my view. And Dzeko, while not deserving of his booking, wasn't booked for being fouled. He jarred his waist while making a clumsy tackle from behind on Goetze. I don't know which incident you were watching.
Roma are a strong side, toughest side Man utd played in preseason or be it only inter milan drew we had a lot of clear chances to win that game.
Benatia leaving has slightly weakened Roma but they have a lot of quality all over the pitch and did well in Serie A last season.

It isn't a major talking point. There was no stone wall match-changing decision.
And Robben, Ribery and Schweinsteiger are far bigger misses than Zabaleta and Jovetic. I'm sure Clichy and Sagna preferred facing Muller and Goetze today.
Sagna is a very poor understudy for Zab, Jovetic is our second leading scorer - we missed them as much as Bayern missed some of their leading players though they have genuine world class replacements for most positions .
