I'd like to see his influence in other areas reduced, see if that improves his management. If it doesn't then it just supports my theory that the modern game has just passed him by and he's now a passenger holding back a pretty talented squad (DM's excluded)
Wenger didnt see any of it
a] AFC fans are the most arrogant in the country, so referring to AW as such is very sad
b] Arsene Wenger is the best in the business at getting results with poor players
c] you kind of lost any credibility as a fan when you put that " ... Football is business ... " point.
The best managers are always arrogant it's not a bad trait. Probelm is you need to be constantly performing to have that attitude
How someone can give Wenger credit for doing okay with 'poor' players, the very same players he bought is astonishing to me .

Regarding your first point - coming from a Manchester United fan! You're having a laugh aren't you?
I think Arsene Wenger is still one of the best managers in the world. But he is in the wrong environment.
----------------------------------------------------------
He works for one of the richest clubs in the world. He's never won anything in Europe and has won 1 domestic trophy in hoooooow loooooong but still keeps his job?
Where exactly is his 'right environment' OP?
Wenger is done as a manager
We could buy the very best in each position but tactics and formations would ruin the player

Rochdale?
AW has all the attributes of an MP. Promises the earth but delivers diddly in the grand scheme of things.
As I've said numerous times, AW's time is up and the fans deserve far far better.
Wenger isnt arrogant but he is not up to date in his estimation of valuation of players in the transfer market.
Arsene is never going to win the PL again, always 1 step behind, CL no chance wenger isn't up to date with modern tactics

Actually could be, too. Very similar attitudes.
