Martial if there is no reason to boo, why are people booing?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you tell me manx
----------- that after all was the point of my topic
The simple answer of why its carrying on Martial is because why would it suddenly change? It's been like this in the past, people are still as passionate. Why should there not be booing now when there always has been? Booing is hardly the worst of sins
Seems theres a case of rose tinted glasses happening here
Maybe you should rephrase your question to "why has there always been booing in F1?" if it irks you so much

oh i see --- it has been carrying on for years with masses of fans booing the same drivers in different countries for multiple races with brundle and eddie jordan telling the crowds to stick a sock in it -
oh my mistake it is not just these past 2 yrs but has been going on for many years like this -
----------- gotcha
In the past Jordan and Brundle were not giving interviews on the podium o could not have told the crowds anything.
I'm not sre what point you are trying to make here martial.

Nope
Meant exactly as I said it. You can't go around claiming to have an amazing memory and foresight if you're then going to claim booing is a modern thing in F1
You can't even seem to make your mind up on what your point is
I shouldn't laugh I know, but I honestly tried to help you along with your topic here :S

thats the point of the topic manx that i was endeavoring to gain some reasonably intelligent answers for -
nobody has yet has given any answers as to why we are seeing it on this level for no real justifiable reason that stands up to close scrutiny -
Martial, why do yo think the boos are happening?
The boos are happening because at least a minority, actually probably a majority think that
a) Vettel screwed Webber over and broke his team orders. Webber came across as the underdog in that team and thus people took a shine to him for his plights.
b) Rosberg has imo and I believe in many opinions royally screwed Hamilton twice. At Monaco when he reversed back on to the track bringing the out when Hamilton was on a flier + then proceeding to celebrate his pole like he'd won the lottery. And also a couple of races ago where Rosberg admitted (?) to trying to teach Hamilton a lesson by causing an avoidable accident which saw Hamilton retire. Now on this I still can't believe he wasn't given a grid penalty for the following race - as many drivers have received this for causing an avoidable accident.
That's imo why they boo. Not saying I agree with booing, but I can see exactly why people are/have booed them
Maybe when Rosberg put Hamilton out of the race he wasn't trying to retire him - but it had a high probablity of retiring him surely? Rosberg was in no position to overtake that is clear + deserved a penalty for such.
Imo what has come out of this is that Rosberg can't handle wheel to wheel racing (right at the top) and that could be his downfall this season.

Martial, why do yo think the boos are happening?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
my honest answer ---- people , especially the younger generation that tend to have a sheep mentality are heavily influenced by what they read in the media which i believe influences there opinions on formula 1 related incidents -
As people get older they become wiser and have the ability and patience to think things thru in a more controlled fashion and are less liable to make snap judgements based on what they read in the media -
So martial when Rosberg was booed in Belgium, what media influenced those boos?
Same with Vettel in Malaysia? Please explain

with spa / rosberg you are dealing with ignorant people that actually believe rosberg aimed his front wing at a rivals car ,
------- not sure vettel was actually booed at mal/ 2013 as he was in the races that followed --
So how did the media influence the fans in Belgium?
Seb was booed in Malaysia, how did the media inflence the fans?
Calling people ignorant is most amusing considering....

vettel was booed for several races after malaysia and rosberg was booed at monza --
and yes manx anybody that seriously believes than any driver purposely aims his wing at a rivals tyre is either very young ( which is excusable ) or if they are a proper F1 fan and still believe it then ignorant is an apt word to use for such people --
