Football is a funny old game after Wolfsburg battered your goal for most of the game they score a freekick with basically the last action of the game to pull it back to 4-1 and ruin an unlikely clean sheet for Everton.

Evan Chrisp: Best I've seen Everton play so far this season, great game and the result brings great confidence for the rest of the campaign.

I didn't watch the match but to concede 27 shots and them to have 13 shots on target as the away side and you were so close to keeping a clean sheet. Funnily enough you concede 6 against chelsea without conceding that many shots on your goal.

Hold up a minute you never watched the game? Powder puff shots can be on target,but that doesn't mean it had much chance of going in.

Most of their attempts were from 20+ yards.

Anyway Hafi, why don't you go and comment on your own team's Euro game.......oh wait....

We battered Wolfsburg first half they were better in the second, most of their chances came between 50 and 80th minutes when is was already 3-0. We backed off they threw caution to the wind and we still soaked everything up. They had lots of shots but most were poor and from distance. Howard to his credit though did make a couple of great saves (but most were straight at him)

At no point last night were we in danger of losing. The atmosphere was a little flat, but that was due to the way we played which was to control possession/retain posession and draw the opposition out.

Naismith again was outstanding. The free kick they scored at the death was a beauty
