Letting the truth get in the way of a good line again Boris tut. Chelsea fans at the game seemed (as far as I could tell with delayed sound here) gracious and good supporters. On here seem to be heading the way of the juvenile g ooners which is a pity.
PS Tuesday and STILL no rag shirts on the street here. Probably a record but perhaps the 500 billion fans worldwide may be getting the message?
Because Maurine never moans
Remember his rant at the ref and referees boss last year.
Didn't a ref receive death threats after a European game.
How Chelsea of you
nice to see the 4 city fans on this site sticking together,

Generally more than 4, but I agree it isn't the busiest team board. We do generally try to have some sensible debate most of the time so can be in disagreement on occaision. However, as we have lived through the period when anything could happen, keeper as striker etc as well as a time when 'Manager of the Month' had a different meaning for City fans than for others in the league (a competition now seemingly monopolised by Spurs), these are pretty good times to be a City fan so not too much to argue about.
I don't see the problem in sitting deep and trying to play on the counter against the Premier League champions. We do it because we get results and that's what matters. Just like how City were defending for their lives against Bayern. We will set up differently in the return game at Stamford Bridge.
TLLL
Last year we tore city apart at the etihad and could of won 3 or 4 nil. Theres a time for defending and attacking. Most chelsea fans arnt even happy with their teams perfoamnce to be honest
Does that mean you'll have a back 7 rather than a back 10?
You should try it. You might get further than the last 16 in the CL.
MR C.
Might win a league title by more than a couple points too.
atleast when we spent money we broke records.
City rely on GD.
As long as we get a result who cares if we play 7 or 11 at the back. People are just bitter that we are good at playing a certain way to get results.
Boris...You seem to be missing the fact that Bayern played you off the pitch and you sat back...and what about arsenal in the Charity shield and in the league match where you was penned back on your on box for most the first half?

Seem to remember it was more than GD last year, though the GD was pretty impressive too.
We are clearly not firing on all cylinders yet but compared to some of the dross we have been served up in the past it's all good. If that makes us as fans more harmonious than most then that is just the way it is, we now expect to give games a go, to attack, but as City fans we never expect to win, even if we were playing some outfit from the Dog and Duck.----------------------------------------------------------------------
Either are chelsea though, so to try and mock our fans for the way our club set up is a bit pointless. Chelsea fans including myself have seen some dross down the years trust me.
We won last year at the etihad and deserved too, we were off the boil this year but tried to do something similar, we just werent at the races.

You were better this year, so were we.
I don't mind reying on GD either, proves we were entertaining and we had stiff competition up to the final game.
I do believe you pipped us to 2nd place on GD, 4 years ago, Did you comment on how lucky you were at the time?
Why was Yaya Toure deployed so deep against Chelsea? Usually we see him making late runs into the box, looking like a threat going forward and creating a lot of opportunities. I thought he had a good game but felt he was deployed too deep to affect the game in an attacking essence.

Yaya's season generally starts in January, strange but true.
Won't be happening this time round for you guys as I think he'll be heading to the ACON.
He's been to the ACON for 3 of the 4 years he's been with us.

To stop your usual counter attacking and because we played with Aguero and Dzeko up top. Yayas forward runs are what leaves us exposed so he doesn't do it as much against top teams.
Might of been different if Fernado had been fit.
Definitely. I'm not sure it would have made too much difference, how deep Chelsea were.
I thought with Milner playing Yaya would get to go forward a lot more. I think you missed his forward play big time on Sunday. Your attack didn't really create much. Pellegrini was very cautious in his approach to this game.
