All good points......3 managers now have deemed that when fit....the likes of kab......rose(who's done ok Tbf) still start games....despite our defence being Piff in all that time....
And your also right.....the new guys not getting a look in....!?
You've signed them.....why if u don't think they upo it....top players shldnt need 'bedding in'
This is almost exactly how i feel.
Its okay to lose but the performance was so shocking
that even the little hope I had evaporated.
These players don't give a toss about the club that'd for sure. Dreading the derby

Thank you for saying what many of us are thinking. I started supporting Spurs with my grandad in 1980. I was less than 10 years old then, but I, not being a glory hunter, but supporting the team closest to my home I watched in delight as we won the FA Cup 2 years in a row with the likes of Hoddle, Ardiles, Villa, Crooks, Perryman, under Keith Berkinshaw. Then I saw Tony Parks save a penalty at WHL to see us with the UEFA Cup. 1991 was another glorious period with the likes of Linekar and Gascoigne winning the FA Cup again with Terry Venables. The last time I went to White Hart Lane I think either Ardiles or Gerry Francis was manager and then I moved away. After that time we haven't really done that much, the last "glory" season was with Harry Redknapp when we beat Man City away and finished 4th and the next year in Europe. And then it was the year of the Bale. Since then everything has gone to pot.
The game just isn't the same anymore. Just look at the likes of England and Brazil. Spain were amazing and now Germany. But the PL is just one big corporation with £16,000 watches given out to "grease" "who needs to be greased". We are all sheep now, fools really, scrambling to pay our Sky Sports subscription and putting football before our own families, our wives and kids. And for what? Open your eyes!
Why....!?
Is Costa being fazed in....Di Maria.....falcao....!?
If you don't think a player is ready right from the off....then are they ever gonna be....!?

What Junction said.
I used to think that players needed time to settle, but realistically, if they are good enough they should play. Di Maria came in, played a few days later and has been brilliant.
I cannot believe that Fazio isn't better than Ciriches or Kaboul. If he he is better, play him!
I never quite understand why fans have to tell our fans how long they have been supporting a club.

I had to let my season ticket lapse a number of years ago. Starting a business which involved a great deal of travel, raising a family that took a lot more time and dosh than I ever imagined but I always thought life would settle down eventually and I could again start going to Spurs. I, like thousands of others joined the queue for a season ticket more than a few years back in the knowledge that they would be able to accommodate us in a lovely new stadium with a team built on solid foundations and showing real signs of becoming a force in football.
While I'll never stop being a Spurs fan I'm afraid the passion has been beaten out of me as every step forward is almost certainly followed by 2 steps backwards. Ok, sometimes its only 1 step backwards but you get the drift.
I don't care that other teams messed up this weekend as well, we could have moved into the top 4 and with it comes a surge of confidence and pride but no. We have 1 shot on target and a bunch of players who really looked like they wanted to be anywhere but playing against the 'unglamorous' baggies. No sleight intended baggies fans, I think your lot played with pride and professionalism while our lot looked what they are, an unhealthy mixture of overpaid dullards and narcissistic mercenaries. MoPo needs to share in the blame. His starting line-up was not the strongest. FFS choose the strongest team possible for every game and force other players into breaking into the first 11 via late substitutions.

Why not, if a supporter wants to tell us all of all the good times he has seen, why try to put him or her down. Football is all about history, like it or not, yesterday has already passed into history. Any Spurs fans worth his sorts, should be pleased to hear about exploits from Spurs back in the day, and how long a supporter has followed his team should be commended, not belittled.
After the dross that has been served up the past 20 years or so, give or take a year or two, then I can well understand the modern supporters being very tetchy against older supporters who have been there, seen it, done it as they say. It`s called happy memories.
Excellent article OP by the way.
Just for the record I predate you by a few years, so was lucky to see the double side in all it`s pomp.
Poch had a much smaller squad at Southampton. He needs to pick his best eleven and stick with them and make them tick and gel... or I can see things imploding and yet another manager will be on his way. I was hoping that Poch might achieve something, but I am already questioning his judgement.
--------
But he never had Europa to juggle with when he was at Southampton. Cut him some slack, he's involved in Europe for the first time, and it's not just the usual Europey campaign that you can put to one side. For once it's worth being in.
Poch needs time, and isn't helped by having an overrated squad of players to work with.
Happy Birthday Genius - We need a few players in the mould of Dave McKay, Graeme Roberts, David Howells who would not back down they would die for the cause !!

There was also a player called John Pratt who would get dogs abuse every game but would run through brick walls for spurs
