As a FB... no
As a DM... maybe
As a utility squad player who can cover both positions... yes
But he is too talented to stay as a squad player for long and as he gets older he may ask to leave.
No doubt he is a good player though (and HG I believe).
Yeah I think he can have good value as a utility player, and given our consistent injury issues, could be a valuable squad player
Coq....talented. Ok thats new. He was very poor on loan so I doubt he is anything more than a utility sub. And he has to prove he can do that.
Thats not a bad career to have. Ask Ray "Romford Pele" Parlour.
Parlour was a lot more than a bit part utility player.
can see him and podolski going in january with a defender coming in
I agree with you on Coquelin. He did a good job against Southampton.
Do think as well that knowing our luck with injuries he will play a few times this season but dont believe he has a future at Arsenal.
Coquelin surprised me at LB. It wasn't some amazing super performance, but he played really well.
Think he can do a job there in a desperate situation.
Hi all,
You guys must have been watching a different game than I was to say Coquelin had a decent game! From the stand I was in, he was shocking. Their number two (the lad Clyne) had the freedom of the pitch on his side & we were screaming constantly at Coquelin to close him down! I don't understand where you guys are coming from. He was truly dreadful!
