Ibrox - ok, 2 years in jail for breaking the speed limit? Roads would be safer, agreed? Jail is to keep the public safe, not as a detterent for every single crime you can commit.

So heroes, I cant use the bombs sent to Lennon in a comment as they havent been proved in court? I've now figured out your point, you dont have one.

you seem to think its ok to racially and religiously abuse people, i think personally its vile in this day and age and should be stamped out.
my point is dont stick up[ for him because its shatters your little illusion of it only being supporters of rangers who do such things

you dont know if lennon got death threats, bombs or vibrators sent to him till the trial kicks off, its speculation so dont use it as fact

hfh - come on mate, you let yourself down posting that. Lennon was sent bombs. Most likely by gers fans. Lets not go down that road.

elite

how do you know it was bombs?

and how do you know what team they support

you are making assumptions

i doubt if their lawyers will make such assumptions, why should they

Heroes - you're actually making me laugh now. Where did I say it was ok to racially or religiously abuse people? All I was saying was that, in this instance, he did not deserve jail. The fact that he's a Celtic supporter makes absolute no difference. If it was a Rangers supporter in the dock for calling Lennon a fenyin whatever or Wilson a jungle blah blah then I would be saying the exact same thing, they do not deserve to go to jail. Now go back up my comments and find where I said he doesnt deserve to be arrested, oh wait, never said anything of the sort. This was about the punishment fitting the crime, I never denied it wasnt a crime.

Lennon got sent a bomb and some bullets, this is a FACT. The only thing that is specualtion is the person who did it and I really dont know why your going down this alley, oh thats right, YOU DONT HAVE A POINT

hfh - i thought the police said it was 'viable explosive devices'? Sounds like bombs to me bud. I dont know for fact the two arrested were gers fans, but i would bet my life they are.

posted on 23/8/11

my point is that not one single celtic fan has condemmed him in any way shape or form, what we do know is that lennon was sent bullits in the post, we dont know if he also recieved death threats or bombs or what team they support

posted on 23/8/11

if it all comes out in the trial that the two guys from ayrshire go along to ibrox as much as they can and they sent bombs and death threats to lennon then i will believe it, not from a forum

I never get this 'sending bullets' thing. What is the recipient meant to do with them? Ask the postman to throw them hard at them?

posted on 23/8/11

You need Help(for Heroes) - You do realise you were the first person to mention the threats against Lennon on this thread and now deny them because they havent been proven in court?

Do you use the internet at all? Do you see some of the vile stuff posted? Including on old 606? Why arent you condeming all of this considering its the same offence? The point of the thread was whether or not this guy deserved jail, not whether or not racist or religious abuse is wrong or not. Because only an idiot would start that argument.

And what else is a bullet in the post if its not a death threat? A reminder that your gun needs cleaned? A wee cheeky thing to take snort your cocaine out of? Or a picture of the dog from the scheme? It was a death threat plain and simple.

"And what else is a bullet in the post if its not a death threat?"

Away ye go. Sending chilli pepper is more dangerous, ffs.

HfH, poor wee laddie. Did that bad Celtic supporter hurt your feelings?
Had a wee look at the Wylde thread there.
Some "nice" innuendo about the lad playing for Celtic Boys Club.

You are pathetic.

Scottish justice is a joke.
Funnily enough the cops charge a Celtic supporter, after Rangers fans get banned from Europe for sectarianism.
Or was that Chelsea fans? I only got my information on the net, so maybe it wasn't Rangers fans singing their sectarian ditties.

BTW as Ibrox Elite has already pointed out, the police said that Neil Lennon recieved "viable" explosive devices.

Back to you, 1/2 wit.

BTW the Celtic supporter in question is an idiot, but 1st offence, no threat of violence, would like the guy on bread and water for years? Away ye go.

Or worse... send him to live in Canada.

Ishy, is that your best? Send him to live in Canada? Good 1

But you're not xenophobic are you?

Know what eejit. I can work in Canada as well as anywhere in Europe including U.K.

Bet you can't.

OK stop everything a minute.

Are you saying the legal system is anti-Celtic now too?

So not just the SPL, SFA etc, but the justice system?

This I have to hear. Do go on...

I'm just saying it's "funny" that the only person I've heard about being charged with internet sectarianism is a Celtic supporter.
Just look at some of the posts on the BBC 606 and on here on occasion.

Barcelona, have you ever posted on a D.U. thread?

Here is my opinion of you. You are a self-important little man who has nothing to say, but will criticize any poster on here who does have an opinion.

BTW I would love to be charged for using the "H" word in Scotland, just to prove how big a joke Scottish (justice?) really is.

Oh sorry, E.U. Ishy and Curly pedantic wee men.
But with my qualifications there other countries who can use my skills, and would welcome me.
