The Rams are starting to purrrrrr....I hope you have enjoyed your moment in the sun.

They weren't that good Cohen! They were very poor for 1st 30 mins and then we took our foot off. If they are the best team we've played then we should walk this league.

Best footballing team we have played at home, by a long way....

You need to get Reid fit and keep him fit. Despite some very good signings, if Reid isn't playing the wins tend to dry up. He is still central to your automatic chances which is testament to the quality of the man

Brighton are better than what the table suggests but we were just poor.

Static. We were static, very rarely taking on a man, very few runs were ran except for osborn in the middle who through doing them found plenty of space just for everyone else to stand there.

We were struggling on service to the front and we could have done with antonio on the wing rather than upfront.

The back four defensively were solid and manc dealt very comfortabley with a tricky micheal-smith. We need that pace and power we had against spurs.

against spurs we were a poor team playing good.
Yesterday was a good team playing poor.

I don't think we took our foot off, I think Brighton realised we weren't as good as they expected and grew in confidence. Their defence was able to cope with the limited threat from our one-man attack and their FBs started to creep forward a bit more.

From about the half-hour mark the game looked like a 0-0. Our back line coped just as easily with their attack(i.e Mackail-Smith) and that was one of the plusses for us. I think the manager just needs to decide who his best LB is and stick with it.

Obviously we will be much better when we have Reid and Fryatt available, hopefully by the time we go to Cardiff at the latest.

Kelvin Wilson was man of the match for me. Was never troubled and looked so assured on the ball.

Cohen I'm guessing your comment is a dig at Derby ?

its refreshing to have a team come to the World famous City Ground and try and play football, we had to watch some shameful anti-football this month

well played Brighton!

Lacking someone willing to take a chance yesterday other than Osborn, who was game but still needs a few steak dinners to beef him up so he can properly compete at this level.

Brighton did what they needed to do but so thought Fulham were a better footballing side. They just had a defence that didn't believe in itself. Brighton posed few problems other than M-Smith's movement and also exploiting Hunt at right back, who needs to tighten up if he wants to make it in the Prem with Palace.

The main failing for Forest yesterday were the full backs. When playing one up front, the full backs need to be bombing forward and pulling their defence wide so gaps appear. Assombalonga had next to nothing to feed off as a result. Fox exasperates as he always slows attacks down and doesn't have the confidence to have a run even when the odds look in his favour. His careless free kick at the Trent End in the second half summed up his Forest career to date for me. Lackadaisical.

On the plus side, still proving hard to beat and a point a game is a minimum requirement if Forest are to challenge for top six.
If Fryatt is going to be in and out of the side and both Blackstock and Veldwijk aren't ready for the first team then so think Pearce needs to exploit the loan market for me as Assombalonga needs support upfront or the goals will continue to be a struggle to come by.

brighton wont do much this season, especially after they lose ulloa and their manager without any adequate replacements. Would be shocked if they finished higher than 12th

I agree that Kelvin Wilson was our MOTM, but what does that tell you?

Agree with Will re Fulham, while they were conceding five goals McCormack and Radallega really tested our back line

Rev, meant that we should be looking to at least get a point from every game. Obvs Forest need to be winning about two thirds of the 46 games for top two.

Looking on the plus side, not all Forest's wheels have come off- YET

two players don't make a team, all of Brighton lot could take care of a football

Fulham probably second best, the rest of our visitors just merge into one great big parked rusty double decker bus

Perhaps you should support Brighton Cohen? You seem easily impressed.

They were pretty in possession and worked a couple of good openings for Mackail-Smith that he probably would've taken if he had been fully fit after injury. With a bit more adventure, they could've won. Might've woke Forest up if Brighton had scored!
