Balotelli will fit when he has Sturridge alongside, blatantly obvious he's not a loan striker, he has done well feeding off scraps. Attacking Set pieces have been poor, again.

Nobody playing exceptionally well.

As G Neville just put it, all the players need to go up a gear (or two)

We just can't hold the ball long enough for our attacking midfielders to get up in support, which forces them back and allows us to keep pressure on them. Without Sturridge we don't have another player who allows us to do that and thus we won't look like last season.

Therefore we need to change how we play, for me that means either bring on Borini or Lambert and getting the ball wider, getting in behind them and players into the box.

That's the problem.

Close game, really could do with the win, and the only strikers you have to change the game, are Borini and Lambert? Not going to scare anyone.

Balotelli hasn't been that bad. His touch and control have been good but we need him in the middle.

Lallana's been getting better every match
