Missing submitting your prediction is one thing but missing qualifying is worse
Will Alonso really join Mclaren again?.... mind you who else is out there for him? And if he does I assume it would be Button who leaves, though I thought both their drivers had said they were staying. Where would Jensen go?
If this driver switch-up forces Button into retirement I will be disgusted.

I get that JB is at the back end of his career but (I'm not sure if I've said it on here before but I'll say it now) he's at least earned the right to end his career on his own terms.
Although if JB does leave I could see him coming back.
Outlandish Most Likely to be Wrong Prediction #1364:
Button will take a year out and then rejoin the grid in 2016 to take the seat at Ferrari left empty by Raikkonen's retirement.

Kimi's already confirmed that he'll retire from F1 after 2015, when his current Ferrari contract expires.

Never mind, I misread.
He said he'll probably retire after 2015. Doesn't really prove anything.
What's happening with Vergne (now that Kvyat is going to RB)? I'm guessing that either he's staying at TR or there's a 13 year old racer who's the 'next big thing' that's getting his drive.
Re: Button, assuming that he's leaving McLaren, I'd put money on him doing the same as Massa has done this year rather than leave F1. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he joined Lotus.

Let the driver merry go round begin
Seb to do a Schumacher and drag Ferrari back from the doldrums
One of the Merc drivers to RB?
No chance Diva.
Red Bull have already confirmed that Kvyat is moving up to the A-team.

Y'know something has just occurred to me.
If Alonso does join McLaren, I wouldn't at all be surprised if it's Magnussen that makes way.
Alonso and Button would be a dream partnership. Both have experience in both midfield strugglers and frontrunners, both know how to win races and they have 3 world championships between them.
It's exactly the high-profile line-up that Honda are looking for.
Meanwhile, Magnussen partners Grosjean at Lotus and Maldonado takes his oil money to Caterham.
Money is a good salve.
They'll probably monitor his emails this time to make sure he does not acquire another teams data

good afternoon manx -
good performance by alonso to beat the two bulls , its the little things like that in the dogs he drives that sometimes sneak under the radar that people tend to forget ,
some interesting driver developments on the way , the eventual loser of which will probably be button who effectively has nowhere to go except down -
very difficult to see any top team wanting him at his age not that i have any sympathy for him as his one title is probably about right for somebody of his ability -
Maybe Button could follow Webber into another field
Race starts behind safety car?
Looks that way. The FIA should have changed the race time. This is jst silly
Here's hoping for a real race
