He went down the opposite side of the area from where I was sat. Stayed down and the physio looked worried as he went off
Heard he could be out for up to 3 months. Hope not
Terrible news for Stones if that is the time he will be out for. However it opens the door for Distin to get back into the side or for Browning to make a push for a starting spot as Stones did when Jags and Distin were out.
This will test the squad, but fingers crossed Barkley will be back in the squad after teh international break and Pienaar will be fit again.
I was impressed with Besic and his attitude after being booked so early at OT on Sunday....seems to be growing every single game.
I though besic second half display was the best he has played so far. Still room for plenty of improvement but he is still new so finding his feet.
