Ade's first touch is shocking for a pro, let alone a senior pro.

Sizzle, I would really hate to think what you think is a "bad" Ade performance. He was so poor yesterday it was unbearable. Sorry mate but closing down the defenders a few times just to look busy does nothing for me. He produced a nice bit of play for the goal and for chadlis post but that's it. Ade was shocking and offside every 10 minutes. The guy is a total waste of space upfront.

He wasn't shocking yesterday but was excellent just a good performance!

You want kane up top but he's never had a good game as the lone striker for us... if he's in a two or plays just behind is when kane plays his best.

I thought ade was pretty bad, had 15 good minutes before the end of the first half. For a player who operates in a key position, and is meant to contribute heavily to goals/assists he really disappoints.


Kane for me, think he will get plenty in the cups.

Sizzle, the only battering Adebayor did was battering the linesmans arm. The guy for me produces 1 stunning performance in 10 and that's only when he has a point to prove. He will probably have the game of his life against City now only because he wants to prove to everyone. I don't dislike him but certainly don't think he's good enough to be our main striker. Kane has looked by far the better striker this season.

Henge, Kane would do a lot more and be much more threatening that Ade ever does upfront if we played him. All Ade does is drop deep leaving us with nothing up top and you guys wonder why we barely score.

If he dropped Adebayor Id like to see Soldado get some game time

I dunno if Kane is or isn't good enough to play the position as he has never really been given a run of games like Ade/Soldado have. He possibly can't run the channels like we need, but I think he is good enough at holding up the ball and getting into good goal scoring positions.

I have no problem with soldado coming in but I just think Kane more than deserves a chance. Everytime he has played this season apart from that 1 really poor game he had in Europe he has looked threatening and his goal scoring record the passed 6 months is pretty impressive. Adebayors goal scoring record this season so far is awful.

Ironically the one very poor game was the only game this season kane has played the lone striker role.

Tim & Les said the other day they see him as the supporting striker, A 9 1/2 not a number 10 because kane can score more.

This, but long term we need another striker, or one that can lead the line properly. Ade can do it but spends too much time hiding trying to beat a full back.. with two up front who do you drop?

Can we please give Soldado a fresh go in front of the Lamela, Eriksen and Chadli front three. Ade's had 7 starts and hasn't delivered. Give Soldado 7 too
