However the positive that can be took from it, is if the helmet designs and car designs wasnt so amazing, i think we can safely say Jules would be no more.
i fully support the idea of having extendable booms on these cranes so they dont have to go on the track area, i think the FIA have to think about this seriously.
However, i think the FIA should be applauded for all the great work that has been done on safety, with plenty of crashes occuring with relatively little harm. I think back to the massa crash at Canada. In years gone by that could have been fatal
I did notice something after Jules' accident. Someone in the watch tower waiving a GREEN flag.
Just checked again and the double waived yellows, changed to a green BEFORE Jules' accident.
The green on tower 12 is right as it's technically after the incident and is to indicate the return to race pace.
