How many more will get injured during the international break?
You just know when it's arsenal and scans it usually means a minimum of 3 months
Anything from 2-4 weeks isn't a disaster. Anything more and its a bit of problem as we lose players like flies.
He probably could do with some time out of the limelight and re focus himself. He hasn't had a proper break, but still be in the football mindset since his last injury last season. 3 weeks off djing in Vegas isn't the best way to take a step back and think about one's game.
We have 4 winnable games and plenty of options in the middle. We have Walcott back from now on, Wilshere, Oxlade Chamberlain, Cazorla, Sanchez, Flamini available for the slots across the middle. We have Arteta and Ramsey back shortly (if not straight away) after the international break.
Having said that, the next four games could have been the perfect opportunity to let Ozil cement his place in the number ten role. Get used to the players around him and those players used to him, and play himself into some form and confidence.
Let's not forget he still hasn't had a prolonged period of games at number ten with Walcott in the team at all. And likewise for Chamberlain, Sanchez and Welbeck.
A Few assists, a few goals and suddenly the media might shut up about him for five minutes and he grow some confidence.
Hopefully cazorla can now play in the middle with ox and sanchez out wide before Walcott comes back
The silver lining is as castor said that Wenger may have to play the players in their more natural positions.
